What game(s) are your guilty pleasure?

I enjoy Call of Duty games. They get a lot of flack here, but I love to play them. They're mindless fun. Admittedly, they're not always great. But I've been enjoying the last couple iterations (for different reasons).

I also enjoy more niche Japanese type games. For example, I bought the Switch version of Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I had it for Wii U and put in about 10 hours before I decided to go with Switch. I also got into some niche visual novels like Steins Gate. Overall, I find Japanese culture interesting and have visited Japan a couple times already. Looking forward to 13 Sentinels.

Piranha Byte games.

Terrible english voice acting. Bug ridden. Stupid writing. Seemingly made by what most people visualize when they think of basement-dwelling nerd incels (the misogyny in those games at times! Oi!).

And yet I have so much fun with them. Gothic, Risen, ELEX...when everything works they offer some great RPG experiences.

Tenchu Z, been through that game more times than it probably deserved. The joke is, I still don't think it's that bad. Gex 2 & 3 before he went to work and sponsor Geico. Sonic Adventure just for the Nights into Dreams pinball stage. Nekopara series for obvious reason :3 (I have no shame)

Not too sure really. I typically don’t feel guilty about playing something if I enjoy it. I guess I would say some free to play games like World of Tanks, World of Warships, etc. I play them for awhile and enjoy some of the grind but when I feel like I need to spend money on them I drop them like a hot potato.

Their is some weird intangible underlying brilliance to Piranha Byte.

Even just stuff like basic controls is a nightmare lol

Whoever made Gothic I/II's appeared to have come from some alternate universe.

However, I do enjoy some gamecube classics, such as Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Simpsons Hit and Run and Kirby Air Ride.

Yeah, I don't feel guilty for playing games I like. I couldn't care less if others do or don't like it. I play a large variety of different genres and games of all sizes. I find something to like just about anywhere.

Mortal Kombat: Deception, specifically Konquest Mode. It's this tacked on story mode that can best be described as a low effort, 20 hour, action RPG. Terrible writing, terrible voice acting, terrible graphics (like PS1 graphics and draw distance, but with a smooth frame-rate), terrible dumbed down gameplay, except for sporadic encounters where it switches to actual MK fights. And yet, I've played through it several times. Presentation is terrible, but the story's scope is epic. You play as a new guy from his teenage years all the way to old man, who thinks he's on a quest to serve the Gods, but we know full well he's being used by the game's villain. Plus, you get to run around in the realms of Mortal Kombat. It's shit, but compelling shit.

Yakuza series

Forza Horizon. It's more of a therapy session each time I'm racing through open fields with its incredible radio stations playing in the background. I can finish a race perfectly and catch myself thinking about other things while performing perfect turns as if I were in a trance... As if I were meditating.

Don't have any games right now that feels like guilty pleasures.

Its about guilty pleasure and yes Its very anti-Ghost game. female protagonist plus movie game plus high school teenage drama but with rewind power but I still played it. and so i guess it was my guilty pleasure lol.

beside main character name Max. and for me Max is only Max Payne!!!.
