I have about a month until Halo 3 is released.While it will take me just a few days to finish getting all of the Bioshock achievements.So I need another game to hold me until then.Which should it be?
I'm guessing Halo 3 is going to take up your "online" life right? The I suggest you get your single player experiences out of the way. Metroid Prime 3 it is! :P
eternal sonata sounds really really cool because its soo different than all the other games you listed, but i guess you would have to have liked the demo as much as i did to think that way about the game.
Definitely Metroid! Super Paper Mario is over-rated, they killed it with all the boring crap between the worlds. Warhawk seems to be very good, but it's a multi-player focused experience, and I think a single player focused game would be better to hold you off until Halo, since it'll create a change of pace. Stranglehold demo rocks, and I'm definitely going to buy it when I can get it for $20-$25 bucks used, but it's not worth the $60 bucks now, especially when you can get Metroid Prime 3 for less. Eternal Sonata seems meh to me.
Anyways, the bleak planets of Metroid Prime 3 and it's awesome single-player campaign is perfect to keep you busy and exploring for the next couple of weeks until Halo 3 drops.
If you like JRPGs or any kind of RPGS, Eternal Sonata should be fun. It would be a good game to play if you've had enough of Halo 3 for a while (i know that sounds crazy but maybe that could happen, lol) If you havent played the demo you should give it a try.
instead of buying anything maybe you can replay the single player campaigns of Halo 1 and 2 on legendary to set ya in the right frame of mind for Halo 3... and with the money you saved you can buy a few sixpacks of Sam Adams and some snacks to entertain a few buddies after release while having a drunken blast doing a 4 player co-op till early dawn... that should leave some money left for the next 2 mornings to take da lady out for brunch and apologize for negelecting her for those 2 days without even leaving a txt msg on her pink RAZR
