What game so far can win GOTY?

LOL to PGR. You are such a fanboy. Yeah, Halo might have a shot, but I don't think it is even the best game on the 360, I mean Bioshock was something new to so many Xbots, and the Orange Box just gives you so much more. And then there is Mass Effect which I can't pass judgement on just yet but all signs are on the up and up.

And then you have the PC, C&C3 came out this year along with the Orange Box and Bioshock.

The Wii is still getting Mario Galaxy and you can't just dismiss the PS3 and games like R&C:TOD and Uncharted or even a Multiplat such as Rock Band.

And let's not forget or handheld bretheren either, I mean Phantom Hourglass is amazing, and I am sure there are a few others that I just am not thinking to name here.

It's difficult to say, with so many great games still unreleased.

But the competitors will probably be: Halo 3, The Orange Box, Bioshock, SMG/MP3, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (they usually have one handheld game on the list), Mass Effect or Crysis.

even though i own the orange box, i dont really think its fair for it to get goty. i mean, it has such an unfair advantage. it already has a goty in the box and then adds 4 more games. if you judged it solely on portal, team fortress 2 and episode 2, i guess. but either way, it is incredible. but other than that, the goty nominees will be:

Halo 3, BioShock, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy, Crysis, maybe Ratchet and Clank if its incredible

on a side note, it seems R&C could finally be the first great game on ps3. the demo was awesome.

Halo 3 isn't deserving? It has an 94% Average on Gamerankings and 35th best game of all time...how is it not deserving?
