Oblivion was around 85-95 hours

Kotor 1 lasted around 55 hours

I think Mass Effect could take me around 50 hours too, Im all ready 10 hours in and I'm still on the second planet in the main story, I havent even explored any other planets yet, this game really sucks you in, I wish it never ended

Elder scrolls Daggerfall, I got the game in August 1996 and am still playing the same character. The game gives an infinite amount of quests, though.

WoW, in fact 500+ hours i'm still going :P

but seriously, i would have to say a final fantasy 12 claims the title, maybe final fantasy 10 i must have put in 50 hours into both of them before i beat them, doing very little sidequests, KOTOR and other WRPG's don't last me that long really.

If by complete you mean main single player campaign, then I don't know.
If it's single player in general, Oblivion, so many mods to fool with.

Multiplayer: CS, DoD, Warcraft 3, still play those. Diablo 2 lasted quite a while too.

Final Fantasy 12, 100 hours and I couldn't complete all the side quests.

I suck at JRBG.

Think I 100%'d Oblivion at around 70 hours. I really don't understand what is so great about the game, the quests just didn't seem as good as Morrowinds, I didn't get the urge to finish them as soon as I could.

Depends how you look at it. I'm not one of those guys that has to play games for hours on end immediately I get it to complete it. It took me a several months to finish Half Life but not because it was hard but just because sometimes I didn't play it for weeks (even though I thought it was an amazing game)

Dark Chronicle: 100 hours without all the sidequests. (I estimate 80 hours if you did absolutely no side quests)

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind: Around 200 - 250 hours in total.

Well it took me 2 years of on and off play to finally beat Tales of symphonia for the GC. The reason for that is because half way through it got so repetitive and boring like all the JRPG's Ive played that I just gave up on careing.

Excluding MMORPGs (Played FFXI for 256 days, literally, and still didn't complete all the quests). Umm, I guess Zelda of Ocraina of Time. I got stuck on puzzles and would wander around in the fields killing things. Game was very immersive. I didn't keep track of time, but I think that might be it. I goofed off so much in that game.

Fallout 2....not because it was the longest game or had the most depth, but just cause I played it way too long looking for more things to find.

As far as non-RPG single player games go, probably GTA: San Andreas, took me around 50-60 hours on my first playthrough, and that was just the main missions.

do MP FPS's count? if so its Americas Army, ive put about 1,300 hours into it. If its a singleplayer campaign style games only, then oblivion at around 150 hours. My xfire stats say 30~ hours but I almost never ran it with xfire due to crashes until the last patch came out.

Baldur's Gate 2 : Shadows Of Amn.

450 - 650 hours for 1 linear singleplayer campaign with lots of optional quests.

That number seems correct in my experience.
