For me, it's Silent Hill Homecoming. I always buy the games and enjoy them, even if they review low. They've always had the same combat and camera issues, so it's something I've come to expect.
Hate to admit it, but if that hits this year, I'm in the same boat. Looks fun, and creating my own levels could provide hours of fun. Now if they remove that, we'll have a problem!
Socom. The lack of Socom fans on this site disappoints me..
Also, what about possible 09 titles? I personally would love a Battlefield 3, thought Bad Company could satisfy my Battlefield needs, but it's not really a Battlefield at all. Just a name slapped on the cover for sales and reviews.

Well I meant from the major sites.....Game Informer, 1UP, IGN, Gamespot, Gametrailers, and sometimes X-Play (not often though)....those are basically the only ones I even care about.
A game that might score low and still could be an excellent game is Socom Confrontation. I will depend on what the fans are saying about the game with what my impressions are of what I see and hear over what reviewers think.

Well, Slant Six is trying to give Confrontation that Socom 2 feeling. It doesn't really matter to me, because I still loved 3 and CA. I just hope they don't disappoint because I can't play COD4 forever and will need a new modern era shooter after awhile.
Definitely picking up Spore (Wii version), Soul Caliber IV (360 version), Star Wars: Force Unleashed (Wii version), Little Kings Story, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles 2, Tales of Symphonia 2, and I guess that's all I can think of for now... maybe Gears 2 if I can find the time to get through the first one... oh yea and UT III for the 360 as well.
Unreal Tournament 3 and Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts (c'mon with a title like that, and a game where you can blow Mario's head off, how could this game possibly get a bad rating?)
