What game would you consider to be "EPIC" ?

Deus Ex is epic.

At the moment though, Team Fortress 2

half life 2, resident evil 4, mario 64, unreal tournament multiplayer, star wars knights of the old republic, and probably god of war

to name a few

MGS is THE most epic....spans across 3 generations.

GOW is pretty epic as well.

i didnt even go that far. i never liked the pokemon after the original 150. the originals were all unique and had well though out names like ekans is snake backward same with arbok, and articuno zapdos and moltres, uno dos tres, 1 2 3, clever. almost all the pokemon represented and animal or something unique, rattata was a rat, simple.

but after that...now they have ones that are just blobs and the names are insanely stupid

All Zelda games for me. Ending of Wind Waker was pretty epic. I can't think of more now for some reason.
