Shout out to @SolidGame_basic for usually making these kinds of threads.
So yeah, simple question: what are you planning on playing this weekend ?
I'm currently playing Need For Speed. Fits the time of year, with it being so dark outside ^_^
divinity 2 again most likely
Ditto.
Been playing abit of Day Of Infamy though, pretty fun. Maybe give RS: Vietnam a wack as well.
COD4 Remastered Edition and BF1.
You playing the singleplayer or multiplayer ?
Shadow of War. nothing else comes close.
This game is soooooooo good. Took me forever to get to act II, keep getting distracted by sidequests and ork killing.
I will say my Talion is totally tricked out :P

Yeah I still jump into Day of Infamy off and on.
It's good the free weekend brought in many new players, because I can now find basically any map I want to play.
For Rising Storm 2 I'm personally waiting for the release of the Aussies to return to the game :)
Started Persona 5 recently but I only play it at night time before bed. I'm still pondering buying RE7 since its on sale here but idk

SP bro I'm not into MP games lol
I got to act II around the beginning of the week. the forest of Carnan was really cool. i have nearly cleared the Nurnen area of collectibles and stuff, definitely ready to move on to the next mission now though.
Agreed !
I love the variety in environments in Shadow of War, it was one of my main gripes in Shadow of Mordor: everything started to look a bit samey after a while.

Loved the Modern Warfare remastered campaign, heck I didn't even touch the multiplayer.
But if you can you should check out Operations in Battlefield 1, it can be as good as any singleplayer mission out there :)
Same as last weekend. The Witcher 3, Overwatch and maybe The Evil Within.
Have you played / finished Dishonored: Death of The Outsider ?
@R4gn4r0k: yeah, although there were two areas in the original, they did feel the same. For some reason, i was sort of expecting a Witcher 3 type open world so i was a little bit dismayed when i realised they were more like hubs that need fast travelling between them. but having spent time with it now, I reckon its for the best as it means that you are not travelling massive distances just to get to the next mission.
Its GOTY for me by a long way so far. Only other game i'll be playing this year will be BF2, it might be close if the SP mode is as good as it sounds.
I feel the hub worlds work to this game's benefits. Every region seems to have its own army and that sets up these massive battles I'm now working my way towards.
I love how basically everything feels better compared to the first Middle Earth: the movement, the fighting, the nemesis system, the loot system, side missions ... They have improved everything.
Because of this I feel the game is incredibly fun in everything you do and yeah it's definitely up there for my GOTY. Along with ... Prey. Any chance you played that game ? :)
Gonna finish up SoW, then i'm not sure. I have a big backlog.
I was thinking of buying Assassin's Creed Origins to play it after I finish SoW, but I don't know anymore. Might just get that next year or so.
Evil within 2. really enjoying it so far.
Good to hear :)
I still have to finish the first Evil Within myself.
@R4gn4r0k: Oh yeah I've finished it. A worthy addition to the Dishonored games. Though it was sad seeing the conclusion to the Dishonored arc and characters like Daud, Billie and the Outsider.
I beat it two times because the new game plus was really unique with it having totally different powers.
Yeah I was a bit bummed too that Dishonored : DOTO seems to have been the last Dishonored game.
But hopefully Arkane will make more games like these. In less than a year time we got: Dishonored 2, Prey and DOTO... We got spoiled but still I want even more games like that, hahaha xD
@R4gn4r0k: Dishonored has been a part of our gaming lives for 5 years now and has earned its spot as one of my favorite and most memorable worlds. On the one hand, I appreciate that they're not trying to milk the franchise but yeah I miss it already. xD Eventually, we'll hear from it again but with a brand new story line.
I've yet to play Prey actually - it's first in my wishlist once I'm done with my current mini backlog.
Friday already? I guess I'll be playing Call of Chernobyl, doing odd jobs for stalkers and traveling the expanded game world.
@R4gn4r0k: Yes, it does a good job of making you feel like a badass too. I haven't got to the fortress battles or whatever yet. I don't even think i can dominate captains right now. i can dominate worms and grunts to fight for me, but so far that is all.
I think everything has improved, i love the revisions to the nemesis system. I killed one orc by poisoning the grog. he came back alive later and all his face was like melted / toxic.
In the first game the nemesis system was fun ... but here it's on a whole other level I feel. Like you said it's just impossible to predict what you are gonna come across.
Some orks have amazing personalities, others just want to chop your head right off xD
I'm at the exact same part as you I think: I just finished that forest creature (shape shifter). I also was able to dominate grunts, but it said: a captain needs to be weakened first (green icon) in order to dominate him. But the first captain I came across never displayed such a green icon.
So I'm at the exact same spot as you :P
@R4gn4r0k: The first TEW was terrible game and badly optimize. sequel improve in every way.
Totally agree, the first one is a technical nightmare and I'm also struggling with the controls.
But I feel I won't get the full story skipping the first TEW and going straight for the second ?

just play the second game. first game is huge pile of trash. not even worth playing.
second one runs like a butter.
Really focusing on finishing a series of books before the end of the year, so I'll be focusing mostly on finishing the 5th book by Sunday. I also have to work Saturday so I'm not entirely sure how much I'll play.
If I get the chance to play something though, it will probably be something like (in priority order):
Yeah I still jump into Day of Infamy off and on.

Yea, i'm digging it.
While I enjoy RO, I think Insurgency/DOI have much better pacing due to tight maps and slightly sped up gameplay. Thiers far more flanking and directed funneling going on than large open "what killed me" maps. The hip fire has that looseness as well, but not as detrimental as RO, it's still viable, though inferior to iron-sight. It's a good balance between slower methodical tactical shooter and pew-pew-pew.
Only real complaint is that it it seems quite badly optimized. Unsure why they went with the Source Engine, they done the best job they could prettying it up, but something like the UE4 engine would have been way better.
I'm thinking of getting back into Witcher 3 to resume my 2nd play through, and this getting the two DLC's (Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine) discounted for the 10th Anniversary sale.
Also will be great to revisit that world on my newly acquired GTX 1070 ?

First, let me say that you are gonna love you're new toy GTX 1070. I cannot say how much I love my 1070 and it's a solid GPU for gaming in 1440p/60fps :)
Also and speaking of Witcher 3, I'll be going for my 4th playthrough when the new years arrives. The 1070 handles Witcher 3 well.

Also got 1070 recently (a few months ago). You will not be dissapointed. DOOM on that thing is amazeballs. Would be cool to see how Witcher 3 runs..
I've been maxing all games I've played since I got the card (on 1920x1080) without any problems whatsoever, to my surprise, as my other parts are starting to get old. I've got an i5 and 12GB of old RAM. Card's a beast!
I'm mostly playing Switch games this weekend, with probably a dash of Dark Souls 3. Totally got the urge to revisit that..
I was thinking of buying Assassin's Creed Origins to play it after I finish SoW, but I don't know anymore. Might just get that next year or so.
I know i'm gonna get suckered in. It looks decent enough, and better than Syndicate, so i'll probably end up buying AC. The way the series has been, your waiting for next year might be a good idea.
Working on backlog:
Syphon Filter Logan’s Shadow(PSP)
Syphon Filter Dark Mirror(PSP)
Puppeteer(PS3)
I want to beat those 3 for sure.
Then work on beating Battlefield 1(PS4) for the game I will beat next week.
Told myself to stop buying games until I put a serious dent in my 100 game backlog.
The Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. I might try to play The Amnesia Collection again but I turned it off last weekend because it scared tf out of me lol
No idea how some of you can juggle 3-5 games at once, I usually stick to 1-2 until I beat em!
Right now I'm on chapter 5 of Life is Strange, and will start Shadow Warrior 2 right after that!
Today I'm playing Fire Emblem: Warriors. Tomorrow work and going out. Sunday will be .. I don't know. Revelations 2.
