What games series do you think some companies like to pretend do not exist.

Garou Mark of the wolves(the spiritual succesor of Fatal Fury), and any other snk fighter not named king of fighters. Garou was an awesome game and honestly should have been revived a long time ago.

I know I should have just said Fatal Fury, but those charachters always appear in KOF(which I am getting this year asap). Capcom re realeases their games like crazy, while SNK holds on for dear life with one realease. So many good charachters that probably never will be seen again. Rock Howard needs to be DLC for KOF, he would probably be like 14 or something but hey it took kyo years to graduate Highschool.

I would just kill for new proper Megaman X 2d game to release for a change.

Peter Molyneux's Dungeon Keeper and Populous series.. His two best creations, that he never really made a spirtual successor to.. And instead we get the Fable series.. Which are mediocre imo compared to those.. Black & White I could almost clarify as a Populous successor, but it just wasn't the same kind of feel imo compared to the older games.. He soon abandoned what made Bullfrog and him so successful to make a shallow action rpg.. Biowares Neverwinter Nights.. Bioware has pretty much shown that they have no care in extending the d20 franchise with popular games like Neverwinter Nights and Knights of the Old Republic... Koonami's refusal to make a proper Castlevania 2d game on the home console.. Instead we get mediocre 3d games.. Where all Castlevania fans pretty much have to go to the DS for their 2d fixes.. Final Fantasy Tactics.. Probably one of the most addictive systems in the FF series.. Yet we are seeing Square Enix go away from turnbased to a psuedo real time strategy game that gives us less options and less strategy. I would kill for a Final Fantasy tactics game with the graphics of the most recent FF game.. Homeworld from Relic.. The game series that pretty much got relic on the map.. Has pretty much been abandoned for the Warhammer 40k and WW2 brand of ground based strategy games.. To this day there are no space based RTS games that come close to what Homeworld series offered.... Valve and Half-Life 2.. For years now Valve has shown no indication of ever releasing a sequel let alone Episode 3.. Instead they have released L4D+L4D2, Portal 2.. Have yet to hear a single word about any continuation of the Half-Life franchise.. Marvel Ultimate Alliance.. Since the disapointment of MUA2.. This seris has basically dropped off the map.. I probably sunk well over 100 hours in the first game with friends due to this additive nature.. It was the most recent beat em up rpg game that did it well with co-op play.. We will probably never see another one again.. sSubZerOo

I sometimes ask myself why Peter molyneux still works in games especially after the mess that is fable(first was good second was passable and the third bleh) and then dungeon creeper and populouse spring up in a post and I am back. I enjoyed Marvel ultimate alliance 1 but I doubt I will get the second one based on me not likeing civil war.

LucasArts seems to forget about Star Wars Battlefront. Come on Lucasarts.

Hasn't that game ben released on Xbox Live a couple of years ago? Eh, it was the last Fatal Fury game, a close to the series, and a fantastic close at that. It is sad that a lot of people don't know of it, but it doesn't change the fact that it is one of the top 5 best fighting games of all times. I always play it from time to time on my Dreamcast. I love it.

Tim Schaefer seems to have forgotten about Full Throttle. Man, i would love to see Double Fine and Telltale games ganging up to make episodic Full Throttle games on Steam.

Add freedom fighters and time splitters to my list, omg this gen is almost over and we have gotten no time splitters game.

I agree with whoever said starwars battlefront...put that up with mml as more good dev work thrown away.

Level 5 appears to have forgoten that Dark Cloud exists and insists on making White Knight chronicle games instead...

I'm sure Capcom also seems to think Megaman doesn't exist they even are going as far to erase any project that may have ever been being worked on. I'm sure they are memory wiping employees as we speak. I bet Capcom wishes people would forget this.
