in that case.. have at it :)FF7 is by far my favorite game ever, but it would need a dramatic overhaul of the entire combat system, do away with random encounters, and that would enrage the nostolgia seekers, they would have to do what Pokemon does, release FF7 remake with the new battle systems so it would compete with modern day games, and release a "White" version, that has the oldstyle battle system and random encounters.
That being said, i would love for someone like Square Enix to reboot Shadow Hearts, japanese horror RPG, one of a kind.
Mod it. Doesn't need a remake.[QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"]

I tried, it crashed.
Well that's your own fault.... Runs flawlessly for me and many others I know.Well that's your own fault.... Runs flawlessly for me and many others I know.gamebreakerz__
I was gonna spend some time researching what mod is causing this, installing newer versions, reinstalling the game, etc, but then I remembered gaming is about fun.

I just googled "must have Morrowind mods" and clicked the first list.

Will check out later. But regardless, no amount of mods will beat a well done remake from a professional studio.
But if they remade it then it would most likely follow the noobification of Oblivion/Skyrim and not be the same game. Overhaul>remake. Will check out later. But regardless, no amount of mods will beat a well done remake from a professional studio.

The gameplay in Planescape Torment is terrible.System Shock 2 and PlaneScape Torment are both near to perfect games that could do with a remake - better graphics is all they really need ... the story, gameplay and atmosphere are already leaps and bounds above the vast majority todays offerings.

Really?
I thought it captured the AD&D ruleset fantastically and it was classic Black Isle/Bioware "Baldurs Gate/Icewind Dale/Neverwinter nights" style gameplay through and through. If your opinion is that the gameplay of the classic CPRG's was terrible, then good luck to you!
With next gen hardware arriving:
-I think a Turok would be more fully realized.
-Wave Race
-...about time for a new star wars saga series--RS should develop that.
-...and of course Blast Corps
I would like Wave Race. Turok would be good but I think they need to get somebody else Disney owns the IP now but they just need a different developer. With next gen hardware arriving:

I would want a new Geist for the Wii U (I loved it on the GCN) but the engine n-Space used didn't allow them to fulfill their complete vision for Geist. (I would even take a remake in HD and a change in the controls)
Die Hard Trilogy (PS1) remake !!!!!!!!!!!! Even just Die Hard with a Vengance Could be legendary jokerz1979
you gottaa keep the lightgun section it was brilliant.
Altho the first film as a game akin to gears would be pretty awesome, with elements of say the likes of MGS aswell it would be a pretty fun romp.
Deus Ex.
I'm going to quote Yahtzee for this one:
"It hasn't so much aged poorly as it was stitched together with old fishing twine from the word go. Even for the time, the boxy level design looked like the work of a man with set squares instead of hands who was being muscle by the Concrete Texture Artists Union. It's rather painfully obvious that they only made about three character models and just changed the skin, so every character has their hair plastered to their skull and a big flasher's mack. On top of that, the game's engine is incredibly poorly optimized and about as difficult to break as a wet Weetabix. It ran like a jet ski on gravel even on good computers at the time. And all it takes is a few boxes and wall mines to be able to climb over a wall you're not supposed to and enter the Negative Zone, although I still prefer it to the modern invisible wallapalooza approach, and most of these are just visual problems.
So if any game property needs an update with the benefit of modern technology, it's this one"
all of that is true, i remember it running like Arse in my computer when i first bought, and my computer had it's recommended settings.
I'd like to see the KOTOR series redone and packaged with a new installment. The genre is dead, but I'd love to see Double Dragon and BattleToads remade. Legend of the Dragoon, Resident Evil 2 needs to be redone. An updated Eternal Darkness packaged with a sequel would be awesome.Peanut04_basicThe genre isn't actually dead. The Yakuza games are straight up the Double Dragons of the modern age.
