What games/announcements/reveals would you like to see at this month's game shows?

Next month is a big month for us gamers, it used to be “E3” month, but now it’s just a bunch of shows each game company does on their own. As for me, hoping to see a bunch of things next month:

• Xbox
  • Fable - come on, when is this coming out?
  • Gears - they’ve been teasing a new gears for a while.
  • Forza - will there be a new Horizon game??
  • Avowed - was lukewarm about this, but want to see more.
  • Indiana Jones - seems like a good fit for MachinGames.. I think it has potential.
  • Hardware refresh -
    • They teased the Xbox Brooklyn, wonder if we’ll see that.
    • They also teased a new controller.
  • COD on GamePass - that would be pretty cool.
• PlayStation
  • PS5 Pro - yes, I’m interested in one, if they manage to handle it right.
  • Ghost of Tsushima 2 - there’s been a lot rumors swirling around on this
  • New Astro Bot game - did not play the original, but heard good things about it,
  • Death Stranding 2 - that last trailer looked amazing. When is this coming out?
  • Silent Hill 2 Remake - I think this will come out this year, I’m hyped!
  • MGS 3 Remake - wonder how this is going.
  • Wolverine game - will we get a glimpse of this?
  • Surprise announcement— come on Sony, you used to surprise us. Tease us with something new!
• Nintendo
  • Not really sure what to expect here. They won’t be talking about Switch 2.
• Atlus / Sega
  • Persona 6 tease would be cool.
  • New Sonic adventure
• Square Enix
  • Imagine a FF9 remake tease?
  • Kingdom Hearts 4 gameplay
• Capcom
  • Will we get a tease of RE Remake?

What about you, SW? What games/announcements/reveals would you like to see at next months game shows?

New fable... Switch 2. Off the top of my head.

Shinobi is really only game hyped for.

If it's the SOR4 guys, expect le_banger

Hopefully Gears 6 and State Of Decay 3, I have a feeling their development was partially delayed waiting for the UE5 updates to add further nanite support which didn't wrap up until last year. So, hopefully we'll see updates to those game, hopefully release dates and new trailers.

I don't hope to see anything. If something gets announced that piques my interest, I'll see it here on GS or IGN when I go to the homepage early in the morn.

This as well guess, though prob still to early in development.

I am busy with lots of Gamepass games so I don't really need new games to look forward to. But Persona 6 news would be cool.

I hope for

• immersive sims
• Real time strategy

Not that this has any chance of happening but I remain hopeful, always

being in early development since 2021. this time need to reveal.

Hitman structure James bond game would be just a dream game.

News on Dragon Quest 12 and 3 HD-2D

Some new game announcements from Nintendo. It would be nice too if they decided to reveal some information on their next console.

I think they officially said that there won't be any Switch 2 news for June. So on the Nintendo front it looks like it will be more the Switches last hurrah. There may still be a nice surprise or 2 in there though. I think it was the year of the Switch reveal that they also had a couple of nice surprises for the 3DS like Metroid Samus Returns also.

I suspect Nintendos big guns are polishing their bombs and megatons for the Switch 2 though so I wouldn't be hoping for too much.

Anywho I hope for a surprise as always.

And a release date for the PC version of FF7 Rebirth would also be good (Note to self...maybe think about starting Reunion).

Thanks for letting me know. I assumed that they were going to reveal the Switch 2 but I was wrong about that. But anyways I'm still interested to see what upcoming games that Nintendo will release for the current Switch.

A sequel to Prey from Ark... oh wait....

A new Fable trailer, a Skate trailer, a new Bejeweled, a new Geometry Wars, Starfield DLC info, a new Perfect Dark announced for Game Pass, a new Tony Hawk game, a new SSX and more info on Metaphor.

I would like to see a proper gameplay trailer for Fable & a Forza Horizon 6 set in Japan reveal.

Oh, and a sequel to Lost Odyssey & Blue Dragon, but MS couldn't give a **** about their own ip's and yet fly to Japan to try and sure up more third-party Japanese support🤦‍♂️

New IP with strong single player in shooter, RPG/ARPG, turn based tactics, or Strategy (not RTS) as those are my favorite genres.

I'd be fine if I never played another sequel in my like, which I know is unrealistic, but stop rehashing the same shit over and over again...pretty please...or cut sequels off at number 3 as a compromise.

You should be more concerned to see if Sony announces a game to restore your faith in Sony.

I'm enjoying Phantom Fury for the moment, but over the past year I've been really happy with Trepang2 and System Shock remake.

Which one are you enjoying? :)

Above all I want to see new IP, maybe some remake or remaster can put a smile in my face, but it's not what I'm waiting for, as for new entries in franchises; my developers to go to are busy with something or released something so recently that they can't possibly have something worth showing apart from a logo or a teaser.

As for new things for announced games; Monster Hunter Wilds and Perfect Dark, i still want to see what a AAAA game looks like.

Yet I'm always hoping for a new Valkyria Chronicles, Advance Wars or 2D metroidvania; a new Persona Arena would be welcome too.

I'm interested in new ip and time frames for releases. The small studio games are always exciting to see.... Larger studios expectations are low. I'd love gameplay trailers.

I want to see in depth gameplay of Stalker 2. Is this too much to ask for? Supposedly 100% guaranteed to be coming out in just a few months, and you're gonna tell me that zero gameplay available is OK? If what they show is yet another 1 minute long trailer with 1-3sec cuts of gameplay and cutscenes, this game is fucked.

I am quite interested in HYPERFANTASY Mimesis - I would love to see a gameplay trailer.
