Just wondering what you think is the best genre. Me personally I'm weird and kind of dislike 1st person shooters. They are all the same after a while. I like strategy games and sports games and game where i can plan and strategize and stuff. I like adventure games too and rpgs. Unfortunately there are only 5 cats, so nd i had to combine all sorts of rpgs and shooters and action adventures and sports games. Also GTA IV probably falls into action adventure i guess. Oblvivion RPG. MGS shooter. etc.. racing games are sports games etc... unfortunately fighting games got the boot but i guess they could be considered sports as well.
I always change my mind about this, but currently I say stratergy. I spent me entire weekend playing Age of Mythology and Valkyria Chronicles, it was a fun weekend.
I think strategy rule, anything that makes you use your mind is good, i enjoy playing tomb raider, zelda, fire emblem and advance wars, but i also like shooters and horror games like the residentevil sequel and fallout sequel as well as mgs and gta, yes i own both a ps3 and a wii...
Its all up in the air for me. Like today, I was in the mood to play Resistance 2 online for a while, then I played some Lost Odyssey. During Christmas break, I plan on playing those two titles, a bunch of other RPGs, Devil May Cry and Ico, blah blah blah.
Can't pick just one. I like FPSs, RPGs, RTSs where I have some presence on the battlefield (Activision's Battlezone games, Sacrifice, Dungeon Keeper), action/adventure games, even combat flight sims (a genre so niche that everyone overlooks it)! Basically, just about everything...except for sports games. They just don't catch on with me. Maybe it's because it would probably be better to actually play the sport outside.
Your list does not contain Strategy Japanese Flight Simulator with First Person Shooter/ Third Person Shooter Elements Role Playing Masively Multiplayer Online Game.... I'm sure atleast one exsists.
