Why did you start playing video games? Was it because one of your friends were and you played alopng, did you play a single game that got you hooked, did you suddenly become interested?

For me it was when i was at my cousins house and we were playing n64, and he turned on Super Smash Bros., and i loved it. Kept on doing the Kirby grab where you lift the character off of the screen and into the sky... Great memories.

Super Mario World (I was like 2, I remember turning on my SNES and then Mario with the black wall of text at the beginning). Such awesomeness.

Then I gamed on the PC on my Windows 95 Packard Bell, which back then was a monster rig. Can't remember the names of most games unfortunately, most were demo discs and I had one weird dungeon game (isometric view), where you could see guys smashing their heads on walls and stuff, I think I needed to solve some puzzles to open up some ramp to cross somewhere. These are just vague memories though.

Back when I was like three my parents got me an NES with Super Mario Bros 3.

But when I got into gaming as a hobby and as a large interest was probably around when I played FFVII/when I got my PS2.

 And you were 2?? That`s what transforms little kids that want to be pony vets into psicopatic serial killers.

NOW I understand the ESBR DO have a reason to exist.

Getting an SNES with packed in copies of Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart when I was...seven or so, I can't remember, and a Gameboy with a copy of Super Mario Land soon after.

That, and watching my father playing Doom and Doom II on his PC and later playing them myself.

My older cousin. Whenever my family would visit his dad's apartment, We would play his Sega Genesis, or his bro's NES then they would get mad at us. It might have something to do with me & my brothers being a lot younger and annoying.:P

I played ATARI 2600 at my cousins house once, and I ended up getting one for Xmas, but still, I never got seriously into it until SF2 was released in the arcades, and finally came to SNES.

I would watch my brother play through Super Mario Bros. 3 as a kid. i must've been 5 or 6 at the time. I eventually began playing myself, could get all the way up to Bowser's castle some time later, but could never actually beat Bowser himself :( I eventually beat Super C by myself, the first game I ever beat (it was a lot like Kontra, which I had no knowledge of at that time). It all started there I guess.

All I know it was some isometric view PC game, dungeon kinda' look, and in some rooms guys were just standing hitting their heads on the walls. It was a weird game, I wish I could remember the name.

When I was around 6 or 7 years old my appendix had burst on me. While I was in the hospital the nurses would always bring in an NES with Duck Hunt and Mario to play. When I got the hospital my grandmother had got me an NES with MegaMan 2, Duck Hunk/Mario and Contra. Since then I've been gaming lol if my appendix didn't burst on me I wouldn't of been a jock like my bros and my dad.

Now that I think about it some more, I think Space Invaders was one of the first, if not the first, games I ever played. My dad bought the Atari 2600 when I must've been like 2-3 years old. My dad loved Space Invaders and Crystal Castles or whatever the game was called. After the Atari, he never bought another console again aside from NES and SNES, which were for me more than him.

NES got me into gaming. Then I stopped gaming until 2001, when my cousin brought his PS2 over and I played GTA 3 and DOA2 Hardcore. About a few weeks later my other cousing brought his gamecube, and we played the heck out of melee. On my birthday in 2002, I had my mom get me an Xbox. Then almost every weekend my cousins and I would do a weekend sleepover, and we played games all weekend long (we still mostly played Melee).....man, those were the days (high schoo.

Plus my brother was a music junkie.....and I couldn't get into music like him, so I had to find my own hobby.

Space Invaders arcade was my first experience with gaming. I was extremely young and saw someone playing it at a pizza shop while we were on vacation. I begged and begged my parrents for money to play it whent he guy was done, but got denied so I just pretended to play. I was completely hooked at that point.

I started gaming on an NES when I was like 3 or 4. Ever since then it's constantly been in my life. After the NES was SNES... then the PS1, then PS2, then PSP, then 360, then Wii, the PS3.
