What happened to KZ3?

So wow poor KZ3 no were to found in the sales charts so soon after release. With interest so low for this series does anyone think there is a chance there willl be a KZ4?. Is everyone waiting for PSN to come back up to buy it.

Doesn't stop it from being an amazing game though!

mine is stuck in my YLODed PS3.

I'll be buying a new PS3 Sunday and trying to pry out my KZ3. otherwise I may have to add 1 more to the sales total :O

edit: I was enjoying KZ3 more than KZ2 for those who are saying KZ2 > KZ3. I like that they added more color, I like the stealth sections, and I like the story way more. It's also preference, but I did prefer kz3 more.

Then again, my PS3 YLODed after I killed that ginormous laser shooting mech/machine so I'm not sure how far I was, but I think I was about 90% done?

Who really cares? The game for me was better than KZ2. I'd be playing this online but PSN is down. Move with the sharp shooter attachment is awesome for this game. And if you actually played the game,[spoiler] The ending shows you that Stahl survived the crash and two helghast soldiers found him, setting the stage for a KZ4 [/spoiler]

I can't speak for all copies, but my copy was played. I played through the SP 2-3 times, the multiplayer enought to be very disappointed, and sold it.

It had the best FPS gameplay this gen, but the story mode was short, the story itself wasnt' great, and the MP was hindered by piss poor matchmaking that resulted in too much lag. The game ran better than, say, Call of Duty, but it was still too laggy to tolerate. Probably would have ran great if they had region locked it.

Killzone 3 is a mediocre game, its inferior to killzone 2, and is most certainly more inferior to say gears 3. The only thing they improved over kz2 is what, the lighting.

I guess that's why I can't see from your point of view. I have very little experience with the MP, but I felt the SP was improved two fold. actually, I barely played the kz2 MP ..lol

guess I can't really take part in the conversation.

it has broken a million copies sold. thats not too shabby. it is estimated that, by the end of the year, it will sell 4 million.

KZ3 isnt mainstream schlock like Halo and COD. it doesnt appeal to casual gamers. and im glad. if KZ3 was selling a massive ammount, the series would probably degenerate, like those franchises.

uhh, it sold pretty well. not the greatest, but good enough.

killzone 3 is a pretty good game, but not great like killzone 2 was.

all I can say is......... "owned"

anyway, "little big planet 2" and "killzone 3" are both AAA titles. over 40 sites have given killzone 3 reviews 9/10 or above and nearly 70 have siad the same for "little big planet 2." motorstorm and yakuza are both solid AA titles. honestly, I think that socom 4 is a AA title as well, despite all the negative BS going on about it.

Crysis 2 came out and destroyed it

It did nothing to improve substancially over Killzone 2. They would have been better off just releasing an expansion for Killzone 2 with improved controls and more maps

I don't know, I guess it gets overshadowed by CoD and PSN being down doesn't help it since this game doesn't have split-screen multiplayer except for the co-op.
