Can't say that I'm surprised, Sony really backed themselves into a corner by showing that trailer and trying to pawn it off as "in-game" or "real time." Oh well, the wait continues. What's new? lol, Bleach...long time no see. Doesn't matter if Killzone is shown at GDC. GDC is for developers, it's not a showcase for the general public. It depends on whether the dev's want to show their technology or not. So whether a game is shown at GDC or not has no bearing on its quality.
I believe the rumor was started by Luke Smith of 1UP and he never said KillZone 2 would be at GDC. He seemed to be saying that a Killzone 2 announcement would be made at GDC.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know it was just a rumor... ...a rumor that blew up the message boards like North Korea test firing a nuke. Guess they both turned out to be duds. So is this game actually being developed?
I believe major publications are to blame for this one. Sony just stepped in and said "Uh...no. Lay off the drugs." when commented. Be thankful we didn't get a "Sony does not comment on rumors" excuse.
