Does anyone remember talk about the Phantom console? It was supposed to be able to place PC games on ur TV (which you can do now by hooking ur comp to ur TV but neways) and place any consoles games...

So i was just wondering... what happened to it?

Key investors pulled out and the project never got going. It had good ideas, it just didn't have the support.

yeah, its been unheard of for awhile, i remember it having something like 256 MB of ram. and being able to download ut2004, it was crazy but it never came out. i think that company was sued for not really releasing the phantom. some investors did i think.

It doesn't even sound good on paper. I suprised the project went as far as it did. PC games on TV? what about when it gets outdated?

I heard the company has made a deal with 3D Realms, to launch the system next year with Duke Nukem Forever game bundled with the system.
