What happened to Xbox360 in 2009?

In terms of exclusives the Xbox has had a terrible year. Some franchise whoring with Halo Wars and ODST, no AAA exclusive yet. What a stinker

Well, theres still ODST and Forza. Hopefully one of the two reaches AAA.

Well you got splinter cell coming out next year and thats about it. There is a couple of really good ps3 exclusives and there would be nearly double of those this year or around in the next 6 months if MS had not stole them. So ps3 only has gran turismo and Uncharted 2 instead of being able to add Tekken 6 and FFXIII.

You can include demons souls if you want to but I'm not sure its as great of a game as reviewers are making it out to be. OH....I almost forgot you can include MAG in there if you want to. That game may really turn out to be something.

Mainly MS's biggest problem is that ps3 is droppoing in price making it harder for the 360 to compete with and MS has no creative exclusive video game developer talent by their side like Sony does at the moment.

It happens to every console, dont get excited about it lol.

Besides, the 360 will have Forza 3 and Halo, and already had Halo Wars which is an awesome game.

It was rather meh. Every system has meh years though.

He'll have to play it to decide that. I thought LBP was overated but everyone seems to think its amazing. The overated/just right praise reallly is a personal thing.

Can you give me some details as to what makes it so great? First off how long is the game, does the game offer multiple story paths with different endings, can you change the characters clothing, how big is the game world, when you talk to people in the game how often do they have different things to say instead of just repeating themselves, how cool are the bosses, does the game switch from night to day, how good is the story in the game?

I could probably think of more questions but I really think its a game I should rent but I am curious about it but when it comes to rpgs I just have not really seen anything that is next gen so to speak of or else it would have everything I listed above and then some.

Last time I checked IGN gave ODST a 9.0 which makes it AAA status.... Just a thought.

Also everyone seems to get hit with a drought these days, which is no biggie since it gives you a chance to play through all your old games you have yet to beat or gives you time to play exclusives from other systems you own. Plus there was a slew of great multiplatform games this year with plenty more to come.

So the only way you are really screwed here is if you don't own any other system and play only exclusive games.

I have made 3 characters in the game, i put 20 others into 2 of them, and my main character which is a knight, i have at lvl 187 and have spent 90 hours playing, I almost have the platinum trophy.

every console has a trouble year with games it seems. wii, always.lol. ps3, 2007. and the 360 this year.and even still were getting odst and forza 3.which are plenty for me.considering this is definetly a multi-plat year. i mean, the only AAA exclusives(and i mean on metacritic) are killzone 2.we dont know about uc2 yet.but 2010 will definetly be an interesting year for all 3 consoles.especially the 360 with it getting mass effect 2, sc:conviction, alan wake, halo
:reach, crackdown 2, fable 3, natal, and most likely gears 3.and im sure some unannounced games.

God of War 3, MAG, White Knights Chronicles, Agent, LBP2, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo 5, DC Universe Online, Tales of Visperia, Final Fantasy Versus 13, FF14 online, The Agency, The Last Guardian, Quantum Theory, Yakuza 3, and the WAND games! :o
