Ouch. The ownage threads would be infinite :=(

Not possible, NG is a too greater game and there seems to be enough additional content for it to remain a AAA franchise.

Yes, but it is still a two year old port...here are the scores it got from EGM:
9
9
8
Which is an average of : 8.6
EGM is also very lenient, so who knows...
I don't see how it would be ownage. It's a remake of a remake in which the original came out 3 years ago. Yes, it is a larger step up but that doesn't mean it will get AAA. Just like I don't see how cows could claim ownage if it scores better then the last two. Xbox fans have been playing this game for years.Ibacai
You do realize that beyond just next gen graphics, Team Ninja also changed up some of the levels in the game, such as the airship level, which has been nearly completely re-done. There will be new weapons and combos such as with duel weilding katanas, Rachael as a new playable character, and the collector's edition will have 5 exclusive new missions which the original Xbox version did not have. So I think that they have added more then enough content, along with a graphical overhaul to easily warrant the game AAA.

As far as gaming mags go EGM is one of the more trustworthy and honest publications. Game Informer never gives games less than an 8 and gamespot is all over the place.

...its still the third iteration of the same game...no matter what you tell yourselves.
We should all just wait for NG2

Game Informer gave Dawn of Mana a rating of 7, EGM along with a lot of other game critics gave it a rating between 4-5...ouch. EGM is not very lenient.
Ninja Gaiden Sigm will score lower than the X Box version..it's an old port with a new coating. It's still an excellent game though. I'm predicting a 8.5-9.0 here.
I'm pretty sure it won't score any higher than ninja gaiden and ngblack
simple as that... things changed in these past years and if it doesn't improve the experience by a lot its value will be scored lower. it doesn't mean it will be a "crappy port" like people said about halo 2. (however this is a different situation, graphics were improved and new content was added)
so yeah don't get too butt hurt if it doesn't score as much as the old ones
TLHBO!
Remeber Halo 2 Vista? Its the same thing. A port of a 3 year old game. By standards, it no longer compares.
jsnepo
It was a rubbish port too. Plus Halo 2 was never as good as Halo:CE.
