What happens when Crysis 2 looks better than Uncharted 2 on XBOX

Well i'll be the first...or maybe the second to say that Crysis isnt going to be that impressive on consoles.

I beat Crysis and Warhead.. Yes they are truely unique game play wise. Did you get motion sickness when you first tried to get out of the alien hive in Crysis? Damn i felt nauseous lol.

The Xbox 360 already has a game that looks just as good (or really close) called Resident Evil 5. Anyways, it won't matter because the PC version will own all console versions. If, however, Crytek takes full advantage of each system the Crysis 2 should look better on the PS3. Anyways, there will always be cows saying that it doesn't looks as good. There's already cows that say that the original Crysis on the PC doesn't look as good as Uncharted 2 or they'll be like "Sure, but the gameplay sucks" or something stupid like that even though they haven't played it.

Crytek should have started developing for consoles sooner. What they are achieving is astounding. I can't wait to play Crysis 2 on my PlayStation 3.

WOW so many people on here just say it wont and go...i mean if you dont know anything about Cryengine 3 at least say IMO,this way you shoved you dont know what you are talking about.Cryengine 3 is not ordinary engine from ordinary developer,its amazing engine,set up to take every bit of power out of those consoles.Neither version is port!They make levels on PC and that transfers directly on consoles,then they play with their assets and make it shine.The thing is that Crysis 2 is still in development and still has probably year left but magazines already stated it looks like pushing boundaries on all systems.The gameplay wont be sandbox anymore because of consoles lack of Vram so textures cant fit.

Anybody who says that consoles are to weak for running it like KZ2 and UC2 are very wrong.Console is closed box and you get ALOT more efficient power from it then same range PC,its developed for it not for billion different PCs over the world.And yea,Cryengine 3 is highly optimized,contrariety to CE2,you can check thread on beyond3d about engine,its pretty interesting and they are very impressed.After all Crytek said they were absolutely going for the best,and technically speaking Crytek along with Id is the best,thats fact so comparing Far Cry 2(now its ubisoft team thats developing it with different engine)with Crysis 2 is stupid.

Naw...beginning of 2011...its better that way they can polish it even more,2010 is pumped with so much games i think i should sell my kidney to buy everything :D

I think you should change your topic title TC. I always notice that when a multiplat LOOKS superior on the PS3 (ala Dragon Age) lems will move towards which version RUNS better. So I say that you change your topic now so as to not get the cows gloating over pwnage if their version does look better. Just a thought.

Yea they said when game is shader heavy it runs a bit better on 360 and when its physics its a bit better on ps3...the inevitable gpu=/=cpu contrary what many here think.

Honestly I think Mass Effect 2 looks better than Uncharted 2. only gameplay-wise maybe Uncharted 2 is better, maybe.

More interesting to see what happens if it doesn't, on either console. Im waiting for the outcome either way.
