Well i just got a new TV so i can't wait to hook up a console to it and i'm excited to try ZombiU and NSMB although since i didn't preorder i'll be stuck waiting for awhile.

I'm not usually big on HD remakes, but...

If they remake (no just uprez) Super Mario 64 and/or Majora's Mask I will buy a Wii-U.

It's natural for people to change their minds. I felt pretty good about Kinect, PSP, PS Vita and 3DS when they were each announced and then quickly lost interest. Similarly I felt pretty negative about the Wii and PS3 and then gained interest in them. So it happens.

Unfortunately, nothing at all. I'm not keen on paying good money for old technology (not a dig, it's just me)

Controller actually looks fun, the launch lineup is pretty dam solid and i'm excited to see the future of the console! After the system is launched I think things are just going to pick and gain momentum and were just going to see a lot of good games coming out for the system.

I'll be getting it day 1, getting consoles on launch is always a blast most of the time :P

eShop games including 1st party originals (like Pushmo on 3DS), 3rd party DD games (like Mighty Switch Force on 3DS), Virtual Console titles played on the gamepad screen (ideal for me, I hate gaming on the big TV, I'll sit comfy on my bed and play NES/SNES/N64/GC games) and also some WiiWare games I couldn't be bothered to check out on Wii.

Miiverse and Miiverse interactivity in games.

Since I want Nintendo Land, a black unit/gamepad as well as all the stuff that comes with it; I'm excited for the deluxe version.

I'm getting Wii U in January due to uni. B/W 2 and Paper Mario: SS as well as Crashmo + other eShop titles will keep me busy until then.

I'm going to wait until the price drops like the 3DS.

I have a Wii U coming next month, a 360 shortly after (friend is on me about playing online with him).... after that I will get either a Sega Saturn or TurboGrafx 16. And the one thing they have in common, they all play games.

EDIT: And those waiting for a price drop might be waiting a while. Just saying. Nothing wrong with that, I do the same thing most of the time. This will be just the 2nd console I am getting at launch.

I'm going to wait until the price drops like the 3DS.

Wii U is launching holiday as opposed to March, the console market is healthier than handheld, its launch lineup is insanely good as opposed to awful, eShop & various apps available day one as opposed to 3 months later, Nintendo already sold 3DS at a loss and most likely doesn't want to loose money on 2 systems in one gen.

Nope. It's gonna drop way later than 3DS did, but a little earlier than Wii.

Here's the thing. I think that Nintendo has by far the best 1st party developers in the industry and they produced many of the best games of this current generatiion on severely outdated hardware. I can't imagine what they'll do with this boost in power.
