What have you learnt from system wars?

Ive learnt that i should really really visit this site less often. seeing all these bashing threads just makes people wanna retaliate and bash a game they had no reason to in the first place. stuff like oh ps3 has no AAAes in gamespot so there are no games for it and are unplayable.

BS i have a preference for the ps3 games out now over the other consoles' games, but ive learnt not to mindlessly bash others. people have loads of different tastes so i can't exactly tell someone what is crap and what is superb. maybe as an opinion but then the amount of bashing and retaliation makes you appreciate games less.

With the amount of nitpicking at games going on it can sometimes ruin an experience you have while you play the game. at the back of your head you may think "hmmm i wonder if hes right". ive learnt not to care what others say but it can still happen.

- Nobody cares about PC exclusives because they're for niche audiences(geeks)
- Nobody cares about Wii exclusives because they're for casuals

I apologize for generalizing. I just meant to say that a good deal of the "my console is better than yours" is because the specific person can't afford it. I acknowledge that there may be other reasons, but that one seems to be the most obvious reason.

If you don't like a game or console, that means that it is killing gaming as we all know it.

The XBox 360 and Playstation 3 do native 1080p without any setup, but PC can't even do 480p, according to wok7.

The system wars on this site? Nothing, I just got here.

System wars period? A lot. It doesn't matter. I used to think it was really important, but really, it doesn't matter as much as I used to think it did. I still want Nintendo to win a lot, but it doesn't really matter that much. Nintendo FTW! I guess I also learned how dumb sony fanboys are.

I learned with the PS2 vs Xbox last gen that people are stupid. Just because you prefer one unit over the other doesn't mean yours is the best. This gen of fanboyism has gotten so childish that the arguments for either side sound like nothing more than an attempt to convince themselves that their purchase is justifiable. A game of AAA status is of opinion. There's games for all systems that have reached that status and I'd never play them. It's all about self gratification. Whichever system you bought, it's right for YOU. Period. The 'my systems games are better than your systems games' argument is petty.

Grow up and realize all systems are great for the people who buy them. That's what I learned... a looooooong damn time ago. Time for others to open their eyes and understand that as well.

I have learned that the PS3 has no games and is only good for a Blu-Ray player. :roll:

I have learned the 360 breaks alot and all its games go to PC. :roll:

I have learned the wii is a last gen system with only kiddie games. :roll:

PC gaming is dying

Addons are required to play consoles

You can use the PSP to pick up girls

Girls perfer guys with Blu-ray players

A good gaming PC cost $3000 and up and you have to upgrade it ounce every 6 months to play newer games

Anything contained on more then one disk is garbage

Fable 2 looks better then crysis

that some people are missing out on a lot of great games.Always-Honest

I've learned that some people get WAAAAY too offended by a forum titled "SYSTEM WARS", not "let's all enjoy what we have and respect each other's tastes." If you don't want to see "bashing threads" then go to general games discussion, effectively the light side counterpart of System Wars. So, in the spirit of SYSTEM WARS...

Your console tastes are wrong. As you mentioned, the PS3 has no AAAEs and therefore isn't as good as the Wii OR 360 Yout only hopes are a game about a potato sack and MGS4, and why expect much when MGS3 flopped with a AA score (8.7 for those who weren't here for the nuclear bomb of a day). Oh, and Hitman was not that great of a game, and definitely not good enough to justify an avatar.

I've learned that ever since I've bought a PS3, I am now a blind fanboy who thinks genji so should of gotten a 10, and am ignorant towards any good game not on the PS3.
