It's not really their fault. Gates touted the E3 '06 footage as in-game. I remember he also specifically said when it came out it would be the best game graphically on any system. He directly said that, I remember X360 fans saying it was going to be the end of Playstation. Well it's interesting to look back now. Halo wasn't even HD and not even close to the best game graphically, not even on X360, let alone PS3 or PC.

As for Halo 3.... Wow this thread reeks nostalgia. I remember before Halo 3s launch and I was expecting so much - thanks to the freaking hype machine, bungie news, and SW hype threads. Singleplayer wise, and visually it was a huge dissapointment imo, but shone in the multiplayer department. The gameplay thatseemed to be strung alog since 2001, did seem pretty stale though.

halo 2 looks pretty good for a last gen game judging by that screenshot. halo 3 doesn't look much better than that though.

I've noticed that Halo 3's HDR is great, but it's low-resolution heaven with no AA and terrible character models. I can't believe that fanboy who tried to say these graphics are better than those of CoD4....
