Its very possible they could show killzone footage to try and distract people from Halo 3. Dont get me wrong Halo 3 beta will be huge but it would also be huge if they showed some actual Killzone footage next week. I mean the anticipation for this is MASSIVE and like it or not people are wanting to see this game. I mean all of a sudden out of thin air sony announces a HUGE and massive press event thats suppose to take place next week and its already confirmed that Ratcet and Clank gameplay footage will be shown upon dozens and dozens other PS3,PSP and PS2 titles. Man if sony Shows killzone next week, That would be huge!
People would be looking if killzone has a laser too, and slowly start dripping away :P. No, not really, but I think if they do that killzone 2 will look more impressive. However, I think halo 3 will still look more fun. I'm just afraid guerilla will focus too much on getting the best graphics instead of grinding to make the gameplay perfectly fun.

They probably will, and graphically it will probably blow Halo 3 out the water. But the gameplay is still iffy, i'd rather they just Hideo for another MGS4 trailer. We all know that its going to be amazing.

It isn't hard to make gameplay, in a fps fun. Wow. Have you ever developed one? Do you know what makes the halo series so much better than most other fps? It's the gameplay. That's also mainly because they love and play their own game. If it would have been so easy, what would have set different fps apart except for the graphics and sound? Not that I developed one, but it seems to me pretty logical that it takes some work.

Popularity. My hardcore gaming friends are into Gears of War and Rainbow Six, but most of my friends, even the non-gamers, play Halo when they get together. 8-12 friends, a couple cases of beer, and Halo 2 splitscreen makes for a great time. And if Killzone doesn't look spot-on as good as the trailer, I hope the press rakes them over the coals for it. Arrogant lying bastards.
