next game is a Legend of the Dragoon sequel, or prequel? The screenshot looks A LOT like Shirley's Shrine. I'm busy fighting Kongol in HOAX, so i'll take a screenshot comparison later on.
I'm hoping to see a game based in the ICO universe...a game that incorporates the best elements of ICO and SOTC.

I am pretty sure Ueda has already hinted at the game being set in the ICO universe. I personally want it to be an entirely new game with nothing in common with ICO or Shadow besides the horned people and atmosphere.

Its only one LoD game. SCE, developed and published LoD. Team ICO is a in house Sony development team. SCE coulda easily asked them to do something with LoD.

Team ICO has the pull to get 5 years of dev time for one game. They aren't the go-to guys for other people's sequels. Thats for the EA Europes and Ubi Montreal's of the gaming world.
