What if these were Crysis console screenshots...

Just imagine for a few minutes that Crytek/EA officially announced a Crysis port to 360/PS3. Lets imagine that they released a few screenshots of the game, the same game, same levels etc and they looked like these. What would console gamers say about these screens? Be honest. I'll be back later.

Yeah Crysis plays fine on Medium and with that low res it play even better. I think both the 360 and PS3 could run the game

Seriously, I would pass out if it looked that good. isnt it rumored that a Crysis port is coming to PS3?

Hey Frozzik, what settings does your pc play Crysis at? (with a decent fps)

I play at all high, with 4xAA and 8xAF @1280x1024. It plays fine up to last level. A little stuttering here and there throughout but i can live with it. If i turn AA off runs perfect but i hate jaggies so much i'd rather a little stuttering here and there lol. BTW i'm on xp not vista.

I would say, "Why do all of the pics link me to imageshack's homepage?" but that's just me. :P

Just my opinion and I know I'll probably get tarred and feathered for this,but Crysis in motion,with those settings you mentioned it doesn't look that much better than the best looking console games TBH.In my experience it looks kind of messy,jaggy and sort of dis-jointed(if thats the right word:P).

Don't get me wrong,from a technical stand point crysis is unmatched on consoles,what with the amount of stuff happening on-screen even when standing still,I doubt consoles could ever match it.

Cool, fixing to build a rig with specs almost exactly like yours and wanted to make sure i was going to get high settings.

Yeah, its a little weird in motion on medium. I still think it looks good though. With motion blur on high and one or 2 other things on high it does improve. Of course its a long way from all high/very high. On a HDTV i dont think you would notice alot of the things on medium though.

If Crysis came on consoles it would just turn out to be just another shooter.
