have teh appeal they once had? What is it going to take for Mr. Joe Smoe non-hardcore gamer to walk into a Best Buy and pick up a PS3? I think its gonna be a price drop by 100 dollars (if not more) and a more compelling game librarey. (which there starting to do. Also, Bundling the syestem with Resistence wouldnt be a bad idea.
I don't think they can, they can definitely be successful, but they can't get the PS3 to the point where its selling as well as the PS2. The PS3 is too expensive to compete with the Wii and 360.
what they need to do is get off of their high horse (which they have started to do) and get out amazing games with amazing online play and an online system to match. Also, a $400 price tag wouldn't hurt.
i think that by the end of this year, you'll see a couple more average joes going into best buy to buy PS3's

Its that they're in the exact same situation as the Xbox was last gen, they released last, at the highest price, with the most complex hardware and limited game support. Price cuts will help but every time Sony cuts the price so do MS and Nintendo. They're fighting an uphill battle.
