What is most interesting/coolest/etc. menu you have seen in a game? Seriously.

I was randomly post-jumping when I noticed a Halo-leaked-menu-blah-blah thread, and a zany thought came to my head. There been so many cliqued polls on random aspects of games, but nothing of this nature. I thought this would be weird but interesting topic. So here is the question.

In all the games you played in whatever years of life, of those what was the single best menu you moved/selected through. It can be how it pretty looked, how easy you could go from point A to point B, having the most uniqueness look, or whatever zany reason to pick. But like I said, what was the best menu within a video game for you?

I often like EA Sports menus through the years, they're always pretty slick.

I always liked the Starcraft Meny, when you moved over it, things would happen; rotating planet, space battle, etc. I like the look of Eternal Darkness, when it changes.

Never said favorite, more like it stood out for you for some reason.. I mean like you selecting something some random spinning ball caught your eye, that kind of thing.

i would agree generally, but this gen, they are all pretty, no useability to me. i dont like the pull down style very much, especially when you can go like 3 levels deep. its just not quick and easy. i like the god of war menu, mostly because it looks bada$$, and when you start the game it fades to just kratos getting all pissed. wins.

Metroid Prime. The menu is simple and straigtforward, but the actual presentation of it is incredible. If you've seen it, I'm sure you understand what I mean.

FF XII's menu system is just sleek, intuitive, and downright accessible like all RPG menu systems should be. Still one of the best menu interfaces I've seen in any game so far, that I remeber.

Probably a bit of an oddball choice here but i live HL2's menus.
I think its because they are not really very flashy and crazy, while the background scene is usually calming too lol.

Other that that i liked NFS:MW menu too.

I've played a gazillion games and I can't think of one menu that was memorable. I remember Sacrifice was a PC game designed by that dude who made the Mcdonalds game for Genesis. I liked the RE menu the way the guy says RESIDENT EVIl all bad ass when you select something. There must be something better than that. Maybe not.

The Halo series simply because of the music. It doesn't matter what a menu looks like, you put the Halo theme song on it and you don't need anything else.

Virtua Fighter 4 had an awesome menu, it was as if moving through water, selecting each mode created this ripple effect.  And it would alter the wallpaper you currently had up there.
