6 million preorders says different. We all know the game will sell at least 10 million copies on the 25th. Halo 3 is returning...
Don't be ridiculous. You're talking about a near-100% attach rate. Absurd.
Halo 2 sold 6 million the first day. I think it's a good chance.
Halo 2 was hyped more than Halo 3 because it wasn't following up on a disappointment, and it had a larger install base to sell on. The Xbox had already been out for years at the time of Halo 2's release. Halo 3 could rival Halo 2's 24-hour sales mark, but ten million.. just no way.
If your using that kind of logic then I guess WoW spanks Halo... That being said there are numerous multiplayers out there that are great.. The most recent best one I have played is most definitly Natural Selection. Alien Swarm is another great one.. Just too many to list..
Halo 3 will not be the best multiplayer of all-time. It will be great but not the best. I can guarantee that. It doesn't have enough depth to it (its deep but not as deep as games like TF2 and CS 1.6 that are heavily team based and dependent on overall team skill rather than individuals. I know some modes on Halo 3 will need team tactics, but nowhere near the level of CS or TF2.)
So far I think that it's Unreal Tournament 2004. Multiplayer matches in that game are so much fun. Unreal Tournament 3's multiplayer also looks awesome.
well i think once orange box comes out tf2 is gonna own my life. ill play through hal2, ep1 and 2 first again (ive played hl2 and ep1 but i still wanna replay for the full experience all at once) then ill mess around with portal here and there but ill probably spend the majority of my time on tf2
