Mass Effect when it comes out
right now i would say Oblivion (the new update uprgraded the graphics)Â
Besides Gears?
I'm partial to Kameo (artistic) and Dead Rising (technical) as the two next best looking games on the 360. Or Oblivion.Â
Kameo, Viva Pinata, Shivering Isles, Oblivion, GRAW, Splinter Cell 4 are ALL SPECTACULAR looking games, and totally stand against Gears, they are not up there but VERY close
As for the coming ones, aretoo many to post here, just a few will be Mass Effect, Too Human, Fable 2, Lost ODyssey, blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Infinite Undiscovery, Cry On, Turok, Assasins Creed etc etc
It is hard to judge, the art style messes me up a little but as far as textures and overall look of the game goes:
Lost Planet, Kameo, and some others. Its very hard tojudge and iknow for fact people are going to bash me for saying Kameo but that gamelooks very good.
Dont get so worried about graphics. Eventually, the graphic shock wears off. Its ok as long as the game does not look like complete garbage, you have to set some standards
Splinter Cell Double agent looks amazing... it's filled with details (sweat on Sam's face, etc). Also, GRAW looks awesome. But if I had to say the best graphics beside Gears, I would say Kameo. That game looks sweet and its textures are out of this world.
Â
Basically this would cover it:
Artistic: Kameo
Technical: Splinter Cell/GRAW
Â
Honestly, I think that Project Gotham 3 is amazing graphically. It's almost photorealistic.jbrittain
I bought PGR3 earlier today and when I selected the photo option in replay mode I was gobsmacked on how realistic it looked. Good stuff. GRAW 2 looks impressive as well, at least on a HDTV.
OMG. I don't know why this game's graphics are so underrated: Kameo - Elements of Power. Such a gorgeous game, and it came out the console's launch!
