What do you think will be the future of the xbox?

Will it be, a console based only on Kinect or what?

I think they will stick with kinect and rely on multiplats next gen.

Kinect is a huge success for MS,so they don't have any reason to drop it all of a sudden...

In fact,they're planning to include one from the start with their next console.So yes,saying Kinect is part of MS' future is perfectly reasonable...

I agree. i meant the bitter cows saying it like its a bad thing. Kinect in theory is great, so im sure with better tech it'll actually be worth it next gen.

Keep in mind,I'm PC only,so I have no reasons for bashing on Kinect.Its implementation and direction doesn't affect me in any way,I'm generally neutral on the topic,I'm just pointing out the obvious here :P

That said,due to the lack of physical input of any kind,I don't see Kinect ever becoming a viable alternative to "traditional" button controllers in more complex games.But still,there are some genres that could benefit from it to some extent,if properly implemented...

Few exclusives, few new IP's, and a focus on Kinect. I hope that's not the future of Xbox though, I'd love to see Microsoft make a great console next gen. If they treated the Nextbox next gen like they did xbox 360 early on this gen, then I'd buy it no doubt.

Anything that doesn't involve gaming.

I expect more greed on the price of XBL with little to no new features and they'll make up excuses as to why they want to keep raising the price.

M$ will continue to beat a dead horse that's Kinect.

Very little new IPs.

More restrictions on your gaming experience which will then encourage others to do the same to everyone.

The past few years have been total crap for Xbox 360 on the exclusive side.

I'll be optimistic but lately I'm thinking it's going to bad.
