What is the most competative game?

I first found out that people played games for money when I was into Halo 2.... at the time I thought it was REALLY LAME, but Now that more and more games are being playe competativly I was wonder what is the biggest Competative game?

I know Halo 2 used to be big so I can only think halo 3 will be just as big... Looking at Gamebattles it looks like Call of Duty 4 will be pritty big... While I've never played Socom I've heard a Lot about it being played for money... And Finaly a friend told me about Dota in the Warcraft 3 expansion and he said it is a big competative game...

So, I wanted to know which games people can win the most money in...

You can win money for SSBB, Guitar Hero games, Halo 3, CS:S, Starcrat, Warcraft III, Call of Duty 4, there are tons of MLG games. Halo 3 being my favorite to watch, some of the plays are insane.
