Warsow has insta=1 hit and you die. :) If so then that's a rather poor design choice for a shooter of its speed imo. Quake got the hit points and armor just right.

When I used to play Counter Strike I found myself playing paintball servers, they were a hell of a lot of fun, 1 shot 'kill' same as paintballing but the paintballs weren't as fast as bullets so you could sort of dodge them a bit if you were quick enough. Plus all the maps were really well made, small and frantic, it was a lot of fun, I'd love to see a full game like that.

Now that you speak of counter-strike, there is a stand-alone mod for quake 3 called urban terror, which is also cool, you can climb ledges, power slide and walljump all this while having a counter-strike theme, it also has ctf,bomb,ftl,jump maps, team survivor and some more mods i cannot remember :P Here is a vid. and another clip
