Infact milking mario is the ONLY reason why the wii has an AAAAE
When mario is pumping out games like this. He can be excluded from the list. Nuff said.
Final Fantasy is getting milked to the point that only lumpy, sour excrete is remaining. Guitar Hero too. Mario is excused because atleast his games are good.
[QUOTE="GrandTheftDog"]And its still Milking, milking isn't necessary a bad thing if they still put out quality gamesInfact milking mario is the ONLY reason why the wii has an AAAAE

This. Milking and bad game are not the same thing. Mario games are often good. Doesn't take away the fact that it isthe most milked IP, by far.
why no mention of the sports games like Fifa and Madden which are just rehashed every year? at least series like CoD vary the time at which they're set, changing alot of the gameplay
Guitar hero with out a doubt, it got milked dry fast :?... Mario is a mascot, sure he appears in a lot of games but he represents what gaming is about, pure fun.
About 3 or 4 years ago I would say Mario, but the amount of games he has been in seems to have decreased a lot. I'll say Guitar Hero.

lolwut?
This gen we had on the DS: Mario 64 remake, new SMB, Mario Kart DS, Mario vs DK March of the mini's 1 & 2, Mario Party DS and the Yoshi game with baby Mario on it back, and I may be forgetting some. Then for the Wii: SMG 1 and 2, SM Kart, Mario party, NSMB and then I'm not counting Warioware and that sidescrolling Wario game (Warioland I think), which basically also fall under the Mario IP. That's more than any other series and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
[QUOTE="NielsNL"]But mario is still pumping out good games. Who cares if its milked? who care's if any of them are milked. nobody is forcing you to suckle the teetMario

So what exactly is milking because I fail to see how for example Final Fantasy is one of the most milked franchises. All games are different and have high quality and they're releasing the games very slowly too. The worst side is perhaps their Gamecube/Wii games but these are few.
Final Fantasy. There has to be like 35 FF games now. Mario and Sonic are close behind. Mario at least still puts out some good games though.

How does Warioland fall under the Mario IP when Mario isn't even in the game? Just curious
Anyways Mario is the most milked but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing as long as the games continue to be good
Heck no...I am upset they have not been making more of them. The Mario sports games are the only sports games I enjoy. Anyways if people like them and are buying them, what would be the point to stop making them? There are people like myself who want more Mario sports games, why should Nintendo stop making them. I really don't understand that.Mario. Nintendo seriously needs to stop the sports games.
