Out of those, Zelda. Its an okay franchise that has a lineage and leion of fanboys to rate it until the end of the Earth. There are many others that are overrated on the list and not, but that sticks out as considerably more.
Zelda: Twilight Priness got and 8.8, so I can't imagine it's overrated. There is a general bias against Nintendo here, so I would expect to see those franchises pop up as much as the other major ones already mentioned.
Out of that list definitely Halo. It's a decent series, but I don't get the obsession over it. The gunplay is mediocre, the story is ok, the graphics are nothing to write home about. I've played and beaten all of them, except for Halo Wars. And to me they're just decent, nothing more. I do think the multiplayer is unique enough to draw it's own following, but it just doesn't do anything for me.
Should put Half-Life up there with Halo, or replaced Halo with Half-Life.
I just don't understand the love that HL2 gets - it's in every way just as mediorce as Halo all things considered, with slightly better story, much worse vehicle sections, one really interesting gun, and a cast of characters that deserve to die as quickly as possible.
Killzone PS3 fanboys think its so good when its basically just an average shooter.

Scoring a 91 on metacritic with almost 100 reviews is no easy task for an average game. It only got 5 mixed reviews, maybe all the other 95 reviewers (including gamespot) are just a bunch of fanboys too. :roll:
Halo. I loved the games when I first played them, but I don't see myself playing any of them ever again. Interesting story and epic battle moments but I found the gameplay really generic. At least you could use vehicles in the campaign but it was just too easy so I found myself zoned out quite a bit.
Metal gear solid, after playing splinter cell I found the gameplay dumbdoubalfa
MGS is LIGHTYEARS beyond SC, even if I absolutely loved Chaos Theory....
Anyways, this is a hard thing to say. I will say the SMG games are vastly overrated in my mind. Literally could not hold my attention for more than a few minutes and I am a Mario fan.
GTA4 is extremely overrated. I mean, it is fun yes, but definitely not 10/10 worthy....
Also, the Uncharted series gets such ridiculous hype I don't even think it is possible to have a game actully live up to such hype and it doesn't help when everything I have seen from the series is unoriginal and flat out bland....
