What is with these new Uncharted graphic threads?

Gears of War looks 1,00 times better than that.

Instead of posting on upcoming games, they just create threads bashing games such as Uncharted & obviously MGSIV

cow logic. uncharted is not the best, its one of the best. there are about 8 games that that could be said about including assasins creed. lost oddesy, Mass Effect, Gears of war, bioshock, UT3 and GT5p to name but a few. you fail, cows like you need to get over the fact that uncharted was a mediocore at best and was a forgetable, rarther generic and safe expericence. it was also short and had no multiplayer, so why do cows go on about it? there threads are trying to dispell the myth that unchated is somehow far superiour to any other game but the fact that there are so many opinions proves it is oo close to tell.

i personally think the best looking games to date are okami and TF2 due to their brilliant art direction.

It's because you guys are the only ones saying that it looks the best.

The worst example I saw was where one guy was posting shots of Gears with its (shades of gray) color palette and trying to say it looked better. Black and White movies from the 50's are practically High Def if color does not matter.

I wonder if the gap will ever actually widen between the two consoles graphics. If it doesn't then these arguments will go on until the next generation. It was so much easier to see the sharper but pixelated difference in the PS1 and N64. Or the less polygonal but more vibrant Dreamcast versus PS2.

Color does matter, but no color in a video game looks real enough to be compared to movies. Too much color in a game makes it look too fake.

Agreed, it's getting annoying. Uncharted ALWAYS wins in graphics polls so I don't know why people keep bringing it up.Floppy_Jim

yeah, since a poll where less than a hundred users probably respond is so accurate :roll:

if you said there was a consensus among reviewers that uncharted is the graphics king, you might have an argument but too bad few reviewers said that.
