Everyone should have an opinion of the ebst game ever. I was actually thinking about it and I wanted to see what you guys would say. Im sure this isnt the first thread about this but I haven't seen one in a while. So here is my best game ever and I hope that you would post yours :D

Guild Wars Campaign (PC): To be honest I am just hooked on the game, the pvp, trade, pve and guild system is just seemless. It is my best game ever because i have just spent so much time on it. I have actually stopped playing now but I was totally addicted.

P.S: My runner up would have to be Metroid Prime, I constantly remember saying to myself wow this game is UNBELIEVABLE. The atmosphere kept me hooked and I was TOTALLY sucked into it. Best console game ever and deep down may be my favourite ^^ who knows.

Metroid Prime 1 or LoZ: TP I really can't choose but by far I think these are the best games in my library ;) In the portables: Hotel Dusk it's just amazing.

Some of my personal all-time favorites:

Boulder Dash (C=64)
This is one of the first games I've ever played... and on my first PC ever: the Commodore 64.

Super Metroid (SNES)
This game has wonderful atmosphere, great challenge, an open world, and really... it's just fun to play. It also had some of the best effects I've ever seen on the SNES. I still replay this one today.

Perfect Dark (N64)
Even though it was basically an update for Goldeneye 64, it was really one of the best console shooters I've ever played... I'd even go as far as counting it as one of the best shooters of all time. It had a great variety of weapons, fun unlockable cheats, great multiplayer, and if you didn't have friends around, you could play against bots that would actually learn from you to an extent (ex. use secondary function on tranquillizers and they'll figure it out too).

Rayman (PS1, PC, Saturn, Jaguar)
One of my favorite 2D platforming games. I first played this on my Windows 3.1/DOS 6.22 PC, and I was hooked. It was very challenging, but it was actually very fun at the same time. The characters were simply adorable, and the look and feel of the game is so cartoonish and fun. :)

Hmmm probably 007 goldeneye. By today's standards its horrible but i used to play that everytime i met with my cousins- so many fond memeories. It was the #1 party game at their house christmas, thanksgiving, 4th of july anything we would play it. It was later replaced by zone of the enders and halo1+2.

No game has ever been better than OoT was in 1998. It's is truly the highest achievement in gaming so far.

My runner-up would be Half-Life 2, which is such a wonder in design and atmoshphere it's unbelievable.

Since games get worse as time goes by, as standarts always go up, the best game you can play right now is still HL2, but OoT is still my favorite.
