What is your favorite game soundtrack?

what is your best game soundtrack?

The game soundtrak is very important (to me) in a game rating and i think game spot  should rate games on it.

for me:

DW 3,4,5-Three Kingdoms- total war(rome & medieval)- faces of war GTA 3 song's 

Shin megami tensei: Nocturne
Shin megami tensei: digital devil saga 1 and 2
Final fantasy X
Final fantasy ix

I also enjoy Metroid Metal and Relics of The Chozo... not exactly original stuff mind you.foxhound_fox

The soundtrack is very important to me as well. As some music, if done right, really plays into the whole immersive aspect of the game. I also agree that there should be a separate ranking for the soundtrack alone, as it really does help create the overall atmosphere, and mood throughout a games entirety.

As for my favorite game soundtrack....that is a hard one. Some more recent ones that I think are very captivating, and mood setting are GOW 1 & 2 as my favorites, and Oblivion. Another game (that is highly underated just because of mediocre graphics) that also has a superb soundtrack is Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom.

There are just too many for me to just pick one, but again, the soundtrack from the God of War series would definitley take the prize if I had to pick just one. 

Dragon Quest 8. Even if it just had that one epic song when you wander through the forests, it would be the best soundtrack ever.
