What is your personal bias in genre?

Primary bias. What genre do you consider yourself a hardcore fan of? You tend to play most games in this genre, but perhaps disagree a small amount with mainstream opinion.

Secondary bias. What genre do you have an obscure taste in? You like games in this genre that the majority tend not to like, or the games that the majority tend to like you can sometimes give or take.

Everything else is just following the mainstream.

Primary bias:

Wicked fun games.

Secondary bias:

Fun games.

Survival Horror/FPS/RPG hybrids

STALKER FTW

Primary: Survival horror, and any and all forms of RPG and JRPG.

Secondary: I have a odd taste for Turn based, and to a extent RTS.

Primary: Fighting and RPG's

Secondary:fast, erratic side scrolling shooters

Primary ; RPG's

Secondary ; Adventure games

On computers: FPS
On consoles: Adventure/RPG

I have a bias against a genre

I really don't care for jrpgs. Other than that I'd say I like rpgs a bit more, but I play pretty much everything except jrpgs.

I'm a big fan of FPS, action/adventure

and Hockey

I am a gamer. I can sit down and enjoy any kind of game. Except maybe sports games. I'm not a sports fan. Honestly though, if I was at someone's house and they were having a Madden party, I'd probably grab a controller, just because playing a game>not playing a game.

My personal favorite genre of games would probably be RPGs. That, or Hack'n'slash action games. Or shooters. Hmmm. I take it back, I'm going with what I said first, Anything but sports games.

I have no bias. I like everything equally.

Umm, Adventure games, RPGs (JRPGs in particular), puzzle games, rhythm games, shooters...

Really, I just don't liks sports or racing games. (like, racers that try to be realistic)

I'll play anything from any genre, but usually I have a much lower threshold for liking RPG,RTS and Strategy games in general.

Primary: Action adventure puzzle games (Legend of Zelda, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Prince of Persia series,Resident evil and Metroid)

Secondary: Platformers & Unusual fighting games (DBZ, Naruto, SSBM)

Im mainly a FPS/RPG/ACTION junkie, i absolutely hate sports games, and by sports games i mean, Football, American Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Golf, Rugby. Those genres are just not for me.

However i do like some BMX, Skatboarding and Motoracing games.

Primary : wRPGs, FPS ( i play most of the them and for few my opinion differs with the mainstream)

secondary : jRPGs,sports (in the sense majority likes them, and i really don't s as far as most of them are concerned)

Secondary: Cracked out non-typical quirky artsy-fartsy and sometimes bizaar games. Locoroco, Pikmin, Jet Set Radio, Ico, Killer7, Katamari Damacy, Okami

Least Favorite: Fighters

I love fps

the one that not everyone is into is stealh games like splinter cell and hitman

Primary: JRPGs (Gotta luv em!)

Action adventure.

It seems only a few games in this genre have become worthy to me though. That would be:

NG

DMC

Shinobi

Casual trash like GoW and probably HS will not do at all.
