Lol you made it sound like an mba or something =) ... Well I like open ended rpgs and shooters the most..But I sink my teeth pretty bad on sports games franchise modes, I usually didnt even play the matches just concentrate on schemes, drafts, recluting classes and such, this is why I love ncaa football and madden even though I dont buy them every year..
Same here, I usually only buy sports games every other year or so. Right now i've been playing a lot mlb 09 the show which has a really indepth franchise mode.
I don't really have any one genre in which I specialise in, I'm pretty good at all of them apart from Sports and Platfomers. My favourite genre though is Action/Adventure.
FPS/TPS (online) The best players can anticipate what other players will do, and can bluff/out-bluff other good players, and know when other players are trying to bluff or bluff a bluff. :P I think I'm pretty good at that so I die very few times in FPS games.
I'll say FPS and FIFA, but I usually play various genres and mix them, a little of this a little of that. The only genres I usually don't play are adventure and strategy.
Well I play a lot of TBS. WRPGS, RTS, Adventure and shooters .. but the only one I specialize in is TBS (ignoring RPGs here as I don't see them requiring any kind of real specialization )
RTS and Fighters, I'm still getting the hang of the fighters though, BB is kicking my ass with rachel, she's one headache to learn but I'm getting better.
I'm sure you will laugh at me for saying this, but I'm pretty freaking good when it comes to puzzle/brain teaser games... HA. I really love FPS, but I suck, and it makes me nervous.
I liked Strategy games the most, and I'm pretty good at them, but I'm the best at playing Adventure/Puzzle games (since I wasted my whole childhood on them), and I also kick ass at action games like DMC and Ninja Gaiden.
RPGs of all kinds(crpg,wrpg, jrpg, arpg, srpg, etc...) turn based strategy (civilization, heroes of might and magic, gal civ, etc..), action adventure games( like unchated, tomb raider , prince of persia, god of war, etc..) Yeah...It's unfortuante that these genres that I like the most are the least made anymore....too many damn fps and pure action games....to many games with out story and depth, simplified to the lowest common denominator=== pure suckage... There are a few fps i like, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Stalker (but that is also rpg elements)
