Seems that the only people that want a Wii are either under 10 years of age, or their parents are extremely overprotective or hyper-religious, and won't allow them to play shooter games or get a 360/PS3cokessweet7777:|

I'm 22 and I want to play a couple of games on it even though I'm a PC gamer mainly, is that bad?

You ask what kind of kid wants a Wii, then say only 10 year olds want one...

Funny thing, adults would and anyone who wants a great gaming experience. I seen my days worth of 8-10 years old on Gears and Halo to know where they are going.
Anyways.. Roll call on ages, Wii owners. 22.
Oh and in the future, look into a better arguement.

i'm 28 and have a wii as do all of my friends who play video games. I'm thinking that only self-conscious (sp) teenage boys hate on the Wii for being kiddy because they believe that only shooters reenforce their masculinity. When you are older and actually mature, than you will be able to enjoy things without worrying about what others may think.
i feel sad for you that you have to limit what you can enjoy based on the potential perception of others.

[QUOTE="Tylendal"]I'm 17, have very open and accepting parents, and consider religion to be the worst thing that's ever happened to mankind.
And I got a Wii on release day :P

o_o Woah wait. Are we the same person?
ditto ditto ditto ditto.
Sounds like me except I am 19.
Since when do we relate religion with being a bad person? Or am I misinterpreting?
It's strange that the posters calling for open-mindedness are making these kinds of remarks.

I am also 22, for a system being "kiddy" it is huge in the college-aged (18-23) crowd.
