Hmm Can't really say. I've only played both on HD, but PS3 has caught up since it's release, now i'd say their both identical but with a slight edge to the 360On a normail t.v. No HD settings

360... Go watch the GDC 09 Awards show when they talk with Todd Howard... he says he likes the 360 more (but for a bad reason lol)... he says he likes the 360 because it gives his team limits... the PS3 has too much power he says... So since the game was developed on the 360 before the PS3, it has a slight upperhand for being the primary dev platform...

Good to see bethesda not completely ignoring us then.

Do you already have it? Or you trying to decide which system to get it on? If its option #2 they both look the same, but get it for 360 because you get the DLC which the PS3 does not have.On a normail t.v. No HD settings

Hmmm, i havent played it since this supposed upgrade by it looked a lot smoother on Xbox, PS3 had to many jagged edges. But was by no means an ugly game.rastaman219This is pretty much it. PS3 used to have lines during night runnig through the screen. The over all look just felt improved on my second pick up

I have both consoles and the reasons I bought Fallout 3 for 360 are the ones many have stated. GS review even gives a nod to 360 for looks but it seems the PS3 has improved. The main 360 reason is DLC. Anchorage was fun, the pitt was a blast and now we get a new level cap with Steel. Jump in on this title.[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"][QUOTE="soldine"]Hmm Can't really say. fallout 3 did NOT get a graphical update this guy is making things up. oblivion is the game that has a graphical update over the 360 version
Is that what 8.5 really means? Wow I need to get rid of all these broken games. The PS3 version is pretty much broken, 9.0 (360, PC) > 8.5 (PS3).

trust me,cows arent missing out, although the Pitt is somewhat fun and all,it's nothing mindblowing..and anchorage completely sucked
FO3 is a complete mess on the PS3. Its a million times better on the 360 in every aspect plus the 360 has all the DLC this is not a matter of opinion either. Im a die hard PS3 fan but if you were to base what console you were going to buy off this one game you would think the PS3 was the worst system ever thats how bad it is on the PS3. I have and play FO3 for both consoles.djsifer01I have it on the PS3. I have to say that so far it has not convinced me the PS3 is the worst console ever.

why care about what they look like seriously......the ps3 version looks slightly brighter, but again, who cares? x360 and pc version are > cuz they have DLC (3 in total) while ps3 doesnt.....the dlc advantage is too big since it lets you get 10 more levels, more guns, enemies, perks EVERYTHING!!! AND PLUS YOU FINALy can play after finishing the game...and see project purity in action.

broken steel is going to be better then both of them though :?
I know the PS3 version has been updated with a Patch so, it's a much better game than it was at launch (8.5...I guess it would be a 9 now).
However, instead of making new 1st party games, M$'s new policy is to go after DLC. So M$ did pay for exclusive DLC for FO3, like GTA4, so the 360 version would be the one to get for FO3 lovers.
I can tell you though, the DLC so far isn't so great, especially the lastest. The Pitt was decent, but nothing so far DLC wise is awesome.
For FO3 fans though, you can't go wrong with DLC.
