I don't think anyone who honestly thinks God of war 3 looks as good as Crysis is a fanboy at all.Unless they bash Crysis.I played Crysis myself i think GOW 3 looks better but thats just me. Everyone has different opinions on what looks best to their eyes. Fanboys.. the real fanboys are garbage imo.

No. If they played Halo 3 and they honestly think it sucks they are not a fanboy. A fanboy hates Halo 3 cause they never played it. I think God of War 3 is more impressive visually than Crysis imo.
Its a psychological disorder that comes from a mixture of blindness, ignorance, stupidity and attention seeking. At least 3 of the 4 points on this list must be seen for the disorder to be considered acute. Commonly seen on the Interweb fanboys are often much more docile in the real world preferring the mask of anonymity provided when online.

While exact causes for this disorder are unknown it is clear that reason, logic and deduction are not possible. The best solution is to put them down.

No, that wasn't my point. My point was that shoving your opinion down other people's throats en then crying about your opinion not being respected is being a fanboy. TC in that thread first says GOW3 has better art than Crysis, but calls any one who thinks Super Mario Galaxy looks better a lemming or a sheep. In the end, when he sees that nobody agrees with him anymore, he claims that the thread is about graphics, not art.
I remember a while back someone made a poll where people can state their fanboy allegiance. They had all the options and manticore was by far the winner. I wonder if that is the truth and perhaps fanboys are just the more vocal individuals here. Maybe most people just likes to see them selves as unbiased whereas others may not.
Insecurity makes one a fanboy, imo. Why one needs to believe the console one owns is the best overall, regardless of others personal preference is plain ridiculous, imo. Read below...........
To me, a fan is defined by rational likes/dislikes, while a fanboy is defined by irrational love/hate/dislike. In that case, it's because they are too poor to own all consoles, or they are just plain dumb. That's my take anyway.
I think a fanboy is someone that only wants to bash other companies consoles and even if you tell him/her something bad about his/her console then you will be attacked. Also, the fanboy doesn't accept facts, only his/her own opinion.
