I want to know what makes it better?

It isn't. Forza 2, is better than Forza 1, which is better than GT4, which therefore makes Forza 2 the premier console racing simulation. As for Forza 2 being better than GT5, I'll get back to you some time next year. In any case GT5 should be better than Forza 2, considering it'll be released at least 1 year after Forza 2.PBSnipes
With this last minute damage being added to GT5 you might be waiting until 2010 to compare it. :P

I think its more down to preference, firstly BOTH of their car simulations are pretty decent - GT is more like, yeah lets pic a car and 'DRIVE' .... where as Forza just has this 'RACING' element to it .... if you actually look at it you will see the subtle difference - where GT tries to be almost life-like by picking a car and driving it, instead forza just has this raw kind of raceiness about it. - So i think that is more to do with gameplay elements, but graphics whores will jump to GT5
The last official word I saw was that gt5 still wont have car damage.HeithThere were a couple threads today that said otherwise.

You really are a fanboy. Remove your sig.
This wasn't last minute. They have already finished most of it in GT5 (not Prologue) and just do the testing. It will release 2008. Nice try. The physics are also stated to be way better than any previous version. Hell, GT5 Prologue will have damage modeling and it's coming in 2007. GT5 has a better experience and Polyphony takes more time than any other dev to make the game amazing, and they always deliver.
GT5?..... ..... .. :|Heil68
You have a GT5 score? And from what I've seen, GT5 seems a lot better than Forza 2. Saying it doesn't look better is saying you're in denial. Hell, it even has a cockpit view for more than 300 cars (which is around how many cars it'll have, in the end it'll probably have 500-700 cars).
I don't know. Judging by their scores, they make pretty good rivals. The argument doesn't even seem like its Forza vs GT, it's more like Xbox 360 vs PS3. It's just fanboy flaming and stupidity. Get Forza 2 if you have a x360 and GT5 if you have a PS3. They're both AAA killer apps for their consoles.

What makes it better? Are you serious? Gameplay is better on Forza because *gasp* GT5 hasnt been released yet. Forza wins by "Technicality" GT5 has been owned!!
cows have this assumption that gt5 is out already, as of now forza 2 is better because gt5 doesnt exist yet, maybe it will be better when it comes out
