I'm going to assume you meant what makes it better then other CONSOLE first person shooters. If you played Halo then it would be obvious, the AI. There are a lot of pretty FPS out there, but there aren't any with the quality of AI consistently shown in the Halo series. Other then that, the Halo series is just extremely well polished. It doesn't neccessarily do anything the other FPS do not, but it does do them extremely well.myke2010

But its more than just that. The Halo series is just that damn good. THe first few games may not have been revolutionary, but they got so many things right that they stand head and shoulders above any other shooter you can find on a console right now.

Okay, but how does that change the fact that the Halo series has led the way for FPS on consoles in quality AI? How does that change the fact that the series is extremely polished? It doesn't. You don't have to like a game to admit that it's a top notch quality title.

if you would read some of the posts alot of people have already made valid points,

1. large open enviorments with 4player coop online

2. more weaponsmore vehicles

3. forge editor

4.better graphics

5. large battles

i know im missing some stuff but thats off the top of my head

it doesn't. IMO golden eye is the greatest FPS and mulitplayer shooter ever. halo is my favriot of all time becasue it was the game to play in the dorm with my friends and when halo 2 came out it was the one gaem i actually played online with other people and didn't have a problem with that.
