What May game(s) are you most looking forward to?

The no brainer for me is the sequel to the greatest game of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It’s finally here! I will also be checking out Redfall on GamePass since Uncle Phil practically gave me GamePass for free. Other than that, I have Company of Heroes 3 for consoles preordered. How about you, SW? What May game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Still need to really dive into RE4R. Probably the main thing I'll be playing until TotK. But yeah, once TotK drops, that's it lol.

Funny thing is, might be moving right when TotK comes out. My moves almost always seem to coincide with the release of a game I'm really looking forward to.

Age of Wonders IV. Man, I put about 2,000 hours into Age of Wonders III. The character customization and and role-playing potential of that game was insane. Don't think I'll be putting in quite the same hours into IV, though; since I already have another 4X-style strategy game to pile the hours into.

Also, Boltgun. I like Warhammer 40,000, and I like chain-swording Great Unclean Ones. It's a match made in Holy Terra.

Didn't even look at the list before posting, a few potential goodies on there.

Also curious to see how System Shock and that Gollum game turn out.

Getting in the mood for a new racing game so looking into Lego 2k racing.

Time to play this masterpiece for the first time.

Interested in the Gollum game but the DLC has rubbed me the wrong way.

Zelda but i wont be getting it until towards the end of the year. I have more than enough games to be playing (had a couple of unexpected purchases this month too and one of them in particular is HUGE in terms of play time).

Well now I am hype for Darkest Dungeon 2.

Zelda ToK hype has been building for me... hope I am not disappointed. Going in blind on that one (might do a quick search to see how bad the performance is before buying). BotW was a ton of fun, but certain areas just suck in terms of FPS. I don't expect there to be a good PC solution for ToK like there is for BotW, at least not for several months while they work out the kinks.

Buying Redfall on day one. Undecided on Zelda.

Redfall, System Shock and Zelda.

Lego 2k Drive maybe (need to do some research on that one) and Isle of Man 3, which I didn't even know was a thing.

Pretty slow month overall with not much to choose from.

Just Redfall on Game Pass/PC assuming the reviews for the PC version are legit good overall. If not, than just Tears of the Kingdom I'll purchase for May and the 2 games I'll be playing near the end of April are Dead Island 2 & Star Wars: Jedi Survivor which both of those games will take the majority of my gaming playtime.

I see a lot that i will get in a sale on Steam, i'll only get Zelda on release date.

Zelda will be my main focus. I pre-ordered it after seeing the latest trailer.

I'm also interested in Humanity for PS5/PSVR2, which was recently announced to be released in May.

This is a puzzle game with a very unique setting where you control a dog to guide humanity. Designed produced by Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Rez, Lumines, and Tetris Effect, the game looks very wacky and fun.

Edit: I just read the PS blog about the origin of this game and found that the actual designer of the game is a web designer named Yugo Nakamura. Mizuguchi saw a demo of it and was so impressed that he decided to help publish and co-develop the game with his company Enhance.

I have RE4R, Dead Space remake and Atomic Heart to play, so couldn't care less about gluing sticks in ToTK. I wanted to give a shot, but when i am being reminded that the game is built for a system that can't even run Elden Ring's title screen, why even bother.
