So i was expecting to here something at E3 but with it gone and Comic-con coming to a close, it doesnt look like theyll be announcing something this year. Which begs the question, just what are Silicon Knights doing?

Seems like we dont even have the slightest idea. I know alot of people wrote them off after Too Human but they have a really good track record with games such as Legacy of Kain, Twin Snakes and Eternal Darkness. Hell from what ive heard, Too Human is a decent game, just a bit rough around the edges (and everywhere else).

Last i heard, they recieved $6 million in support from the Canadian government which implies they atleast must be doing something. What do you guys think?

Is there any news on what theyre doing? If not what do you think they are working on? Or will they go bust? I have a feeling its the latter :(

HOPEFULLY A DECENT GAME, I hear they made something great once but I never played that, all I played was Too human and while the concept was cool and something that I would have normally liked the game sucked %%%. For me they suck nothing more.

If they put in a more traditional combat system, then TH2 would be awesome.

I'd like to see them give Two Human a shot.

The first was a lot of fun, needs a lot of polish though.

Advid-Gamer

They did the first Legacy of Kain game, although development of that was shared with Crystal Dynamics.

I can't remember what it's called, but some work-in-progree of something that may or may not have been ED2 (or ED-related) surfaced around last E3, and there was a rumour that they're working on Too Human 2 Furious a couple of weeks back.

Too Human2

or a new Legacy Of Kain game

Thanks :)

Despite some bad reviews, Too Human was a game I loved in coop, just awesome. Its definatly rough around the edges and extremely hard in singleplayer, but overall I had a great time.

As for Legacy Of Kain, I loved the very first Legacy Of Kain game that was on PS1 back in the day, would love a new one like that.

Too Human had a nice concept and it was a terrible game, it just sort of lacked a lot of the polish that it needed. I'm sure if they are working on TH2, they can learn from their mistakes and produce a better game. I believe the first one sold pretty well for an original IP.

They have no rights to the Legacy of Kain franchise. Silicon Knights and Crystal Dynamics went to court over it in the late 90's. The court sided with Crystal D.

I view SK the same way I view Rare. They were great with Nintendo (Twin Snakes, Eternal Darkness) but since they left they take forever to release worse games. It's funny... I remember reading ages ago that SK left Nintendo because Nintendo wanted them to focus on smaller titles (this was still in the GC era), but they wanted to do big, expensive, epic ones. Then like 5 years later they release Too Human and it's a mess. I guess they need supervision and support from someone to reach their full potential.
