What Occurence Would Result in MAXIMUM OWNAGE ?

What occurence do you think would result in the most ownage?

Here are a couple of my candidates:

• MGS4 goes multiplat (Cows would be owned)
• MGS4 Flops score-wise at GS
• FFXIII goes multiplat (Cows would be owned....again)
• PS3 wins this Gen (ALL Haters would be owned....I think SW would just go extinct if this happened and the forum would be renamed to "MOO TOWN")

I think those are the top contenders for occurences that would result in the "maximum ownage" that could be dished out

Can anyone come up with others? I know there's some other things out there that would be ultimate ownage some way or another

I think your little list is about right.

If either of those two titles went multiplatform it would be pretty bad.

However, if the PS3 won this generation, I don't think anything could top that.

sony removes blu-ray from ps3's and makes all ps3 games on dvd and has blu-ray versions pulled from shelves or sticker that says "not compatible with models bought after this date"

ff13 and mgs4 go multiplat on the same day that sony announces a new 10gig sku with 1 usb port at $349.

i dont know anypossible lemming ownage coming up. maybe if the fall update causes the fans on all the 360s to stop and all the consoles die at once.

a last-gen game like God of War 2 getting GOTY would pwn everybody everywhere

also, if Sega came out with a wii-like console with a rejuvinated 2d perspective 3d w/ 2d HD effects sonic platformer that had multiple worlds and multiple dimensions and speed so fast the game time-travelled and killed the wii overnight in its sleep... if anything, Sega deserves it

• Microsoft officially steps down from the Japanese market and decides to concentrate in America and Europe

Not really. Sony was on top for the last 2 generations coming into this gen. Them pulling their act together wouldn't be ownage, it's expected.

The Wii finishing on top, selling the most games, and having the other systems copying them would/probably will be the best ownage. Considering many people thought the GC to be their last console.

it's because people don't really pay attention to it.....

GTAIV exclusive on 360 or ps3 i think would be the biggest ownage.

MGS4 flopping should be considered the biggest, since (despite what people will say) cows are expecting more of it than lemmings expected from Halo 3. There are already plenty of posts similar to "X game will be the best of this gen, until MGS4 is released".

That's been said, so I'll say one that I haven't seen (though it could be in here somewhere): Crysis 2 being developed simultaneously on PC/consoles.
