Here is my complete list, minus the GameBoy and GameGear, as I don't remember when I got these:
1. NES: Ah, memories of Duck Hunt and Super Mario as a young lad.
2. Sega Genesis: I liked sports games a whole lot back then, so I picked this over the Super NES. I would later get the Sega CD and the 32X add-ons.
3. Super NES: Everybody I knew had one, so I finally broke down and got one. More Mario, so that was cool.
4. PS1: Loved this thing. Many memories of Resident Evil 1 and NCAA Football. I didn't need any other consoles for this generation.
5. XBOX: This thing got me through college. Halo: CE and some more NCAA Football. I wanted a PS2, as well, but couldn't afford two consoles. Not a bad console, but I just felt PS2 owners got more out of their systems.
6. XBOX360: Got this thing at the launch. On my second one now (first one lost in an apartment fire). My favorite console of all time! Achievements are sweet, even though I don't go out of my way to get them. Menus and options are easy to use and figure out. A very friendly console.
7. Wii: Got this mainly for Mario Kart, Wii Bowling, and Wii Fit. OK system. Can't believe it isn't in HD. Lack of online "community" is disappointing. Am glad I have it, though. I missed out on some great games like RE4 in the past, and having that plus the backwards capability with GameCube games is cool.
8. PS3: Just got this. Seems to have finally hit its stride after a slow start. Good to see as it is a sweet console. I already like this better than the Wii, but I can't see myself liking it more than the 360..........that would take a lot.
