What other games did M$ announce well in advance of release?

Lemmings always act like M$ never announces new games well in advance of release, but didn't they do just that with Alan Wake, Gears of War 1 and 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo ODST, that Forza game, GTA IV + DLC, FF XIII, etc.?

Splinter Cell, Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie N & B, Too Hyped, Halo Wars, Mass Effect, that's just off the top of my head. Yeah, every company reveals some games way in advance.

MS announced it would be on their system at least 2 years before its actual release. Still, I think SquareEnix deserve the blame instead of MS.
