I think PCgaming is imply about appealing to niche groups. It allows people to make games they truly want. I mean you might bash hardcore wargames, but many of them are actualy also made by 2-3 peoples. It simply allows people to satisfy their taste in entertaiment, both in playing and creating.AdrianWernerbasicaly, it is the only place i have found compelling strategy games, and epic battles with thousands of troops under my command not to mention the simple entertainment of things like spore and sims
It's about games like this. Not super graphical masterpieces like crysis, not hardcore arcane stratagy games that only a major in military tactics can understand. It's about cool little games made by one or two people who make games that surpass anything, including Wii games in innovation. Where the PC really shines is not these big huge AAA games, it's all of these tiny ones that show the PC is a well that any person with a little bit of programing knowledge can express themselves and their enginous concepts without boundries of publishers telling them what to do. What the PC is, is about user expression, and that is something that with games even Little Big Planet (sony killing off your levels) cannot come close to what the PC offers in raw expression.insanejediyawn after 5 mins
