Ever played UT2004?MTBare
Tribes was one of the first shooters ever to have a focus on vehicles, and it was a PC exclusive. Half-Life 2 also makes use of vehicles. There's also the Battlefield series, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Unreal Tournament, and Crysis. >_>
Of course, this post is somewhat redundant. >_>

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]Did you just totally forget about Tribes? THE FIRST vehicle heavy FPS?Felous1Being the first has no relevance to this thread at all. Oh but this does:

This thread is even more ridiculous because Halo is on PC.Danm_999
[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]Did you just totally forget about Tribes? THE FIRST vehicle heavy FPS?Felous1Being the first has no relevance to this thread at all. It was the one that laid the foundation for almost all vehicles in FPS games. It had some of the most creative, inspiriing vehicles. To say its not relevant is downright ew. Oh and Serious Sam has bad *** vehicles.
PC shooters lack something i find needed in good run and gunFPS- fun and diverse vehicles.ummm...Battlefield 2 (PC) multiplayer comes to mind
Halo 1 and 2 probaly mastered this. Fun vehicles of varrying speed and uses and of course- boarding (fun unique feature)

You said that PC shooters lack use of vehicles. The first ever shooter with heavy use of vehicles was Starsiege: Tribes, a PC exclusive. And that aside, you statement was completely bogus, as others have shown. >_>I didn't say anything. I know PC shooters have those covered.PannicAtack
what im trying to say is that vehicles on the pc are just not as fun as vehicles on a console. they just arent and thats a big downfall to them (imo). So you're saying you've never flown the helicopters in a Battlefield game?

what im trying to say is that vehicles on the pc are just not as fun as vehicles on a console. they just arent and thats a big downfall to them (imo).thats exactly it. YOUR OPINION. When are people gonna start realizing that their opinion means NOTHING to others???

this thread is a joke. TC proly started playing FPS with halo... halo is fun..but nothing in it is original! the battle field series pretty much defines everything you're looking for single handedly... noob!Rage010101I completely agree but don't associate Halo with every uninformed consolite. Thanks in advance.

PC shooters lack something i find needed in good run and gunFPS- fun and diverse vehicles. How many games on consoles have good vehicles besides Halo? And I've also never seen another game with the boarding feature. In pc games, if you want to board, you have to kill the driver.
